It goes into great detail that a documentary just can't. It has loads of newspaper and magazine clippings and tells you of the type of things that were going on in the lead up to, in the aftermath and around events. Its an important book beyond boxing.

Jersey Boy by Adeyinka Makinde, about Light-Heavyweight contender Frankie DePaula is superb, DePaula had a great story, and Makinde tells it brilliantly, going into depth on the mob scene of the time, and DePaula's involvement and subsequent murder.

I think Mike Watson`s book is the best Ive read,he does his boxing career and part of the long road back after the Eubank fight.Ive read a few other boxing books and others that spring to mind as worth a read are Frank Bruno`s book, and Nick Tosches night train.Neither of these however made me read like Mike`s book did,my mum got me it for a christmas present a few years back and I read it from start to finish on christmas day, could not put it down.

    I can't wait for it.

Also, as much as people don;t like him, from my dealings with him he is a very nice guy.
