:nono He is very well known in the US.. Im speaking for the West coast and even non boxing fans know who is... Hell ive seen him on shows like TMZ a few times(last time was earlier tonight), so obviously the general public knows him.

I think mark is right on this one.

not a lot of people know who mayweather or pacquiao are either.

In Europe, you think boxers are popular with people who think real sports bicycling and formula 1 are king?

Snoop knows him Beyonce too.Ron Artest and KOBE and the kid from the fighter. Funny, Pac likes listening to snoop when working out.But snoop dissed him.

Around where I live most people know who Pac and Manny are, but not much more beyond that. They ask me if Floyd and Pac fought already and ask me if Manny ever fought (insert a retired boxer or boxer in much heavier weight class) and stuff.
But he's not super popular, but people know who he is.

In Australia mostly boxing people know him, I haven't spoken to hardly anyone that isn't intrested in boxing who knows pacquio. It's because all the publicity he gets here is maybe a 10 second clip on one chanels sports news and maybe a small section in one newspaper only when he fights.
It would be good if boxing could get on a cable or a free to air Chanel this would help
the sport grow and gain more exposure, they have shown a couple of klitchko fights delayed on free to air which was good.
The only fighters the general public knows I'd green and mundine who are running a circus down here

The 60 minutes thing on Manny was huge. A lot of old people know Manny now.
My family are huge Mayweather fans believe it or not they were definitely hating when that was on. I dare not mention Pac when I am around them.

so this is why you're on this forum so much. It gives you an outlet to share all the stupid ideas in your head. Your family doesn't allow it to happen around them.

Basically. Yet they were sure ODLH, Cotto, Margarito would beat him and of course Shane will knock him out. I knew Manny was the greatest way before people started talking about it so my ideas aren't that stupid. I just love talking boxing. And yes I don't tell them my opinion. I don't talk much in real life.

thats a bold statement to make. Pacquiao is well respected and liked in UK by most boxing fans, theres no denying his talents, no matter where you are in the world (apart from Floyd's arse).
