Are there any fighters whose records would be significantly different? For example scoring the Reid and Hopkins fights against Calzaghe or scoring the Chageav and Haye fights for Valuev. Lookin for people who have actually completed score cards for these fights not just 50 comments on Pac JMM :good
Lol I was going to mention Pac JMM, but Manny's career would be a lot different if they scored the fight right. It worked out better for boxing though in the end
we wouldn't have a braggadocios comedian and his family barely speaking english on our t.v screens if a certain fight was scored correctly.
Whitaker won vs Chavez 10-2. Total domination IMO. Pac-JMM 1 = Pac wins. Pac-JMM 2 = JMM wins. Andre Dirrell would be undefeated. Hagler won vs Leonard... Off the top of my head that's it right now. Not a scorecard thing but bad stoppage... Meldrick Taylor beat Chavez and should have got his moment of glory. And of course, Frazier beat Ali the 3rd time.
I would have scored Tarver Hopkins differenctly, what a farce Lacy was clearly robbed that night; Tarver easily outpointed him.
I agree with everything you said except for Frazier beating Ali in the 3rd fight. Hopkins would have a win over Taylor. Norton would have won 2 out of 3 against Ali. Hearns beat Leonard the second fight.
I mean the fight against Byrd and the fight against Ruiz. However I have just realized that he would be a 1-time champion, because the fights were in a row
atsch Accept it Calzaghe beat Reid and Hopkins, look at the facts. Calzaghe beat Hopkins in America with 3 American judges at a new weight with Cortez as the ref landing more shots on Hopkins than anyone ever and scoring the single highest scorecard against Hopkins ever. Calzaghe moved Hopkins around the ring at will and if Hopkins thought he was winning, do you think he would have been trying to get time out and points deducted off of Calzaghe? I dont either. As for Reid, I doubt you have seen the fight, but let me educate you. Calzaghe was fighting away. Calzaghe was clearly outboxing Reid until he broke his hand in the 4th round, he hadnt lost a round until then. Calzaghe still clearly beat Reid though Reid did land some very big shots that Calzaghe shrugged off and won. 2 of the 3 judges scored for Calzaghe by 5 rounds as did all of the commentary team except McCrory. 2 good away wins for Calzaghe. Haye - Valuev was a fair win for Haye. In fact I read that C Abrams scored every round for Haye and it was Valuev that was badly wobbled by Haye and his broken hand Pac - Marquez - I thought Marquez deserved both decisions but they were very close fights and every time someone went down it was Marquez If I could change a scorecard for any fight I would award Jo Jo Dan the decision against S Aydin
I absolutely agree Calzaghe deserved the win in both those fights dont get me wrong those weren't my picks they were just examples
