Pacquiao: If I Hit Mayweather Like Mosley, I'd Finish Him!

Floyd does not have excellent recovery skills. He is conditioned and has a huge advantage knowing the fighters he was hurt by a) do not have a diverse arsenal
b) knows before the fight he is the better conditioned fighter which is why it is made in the first place.
With Judah and Mosley he knows that he is in better shape which gives him a huge mental + physical edge.
It guarantees Floyd that he has the best chance to fight his fight. He can use his legs and the lesser conditioned older fighters will not be able to build upon those moments where Floyd is vulnerable because of their inferior conditioning.

If this was not the case he would have faced Cotto who beat both the men who had Floyd in trouble. But knowing Cotto is not 39 and can go hard for 12 rounds and will attack much differently and more frequently the fight never happens. With Manny well he has no choice now.

 

if pacman hurts him like that he'll finish floyd cause he'll be all over him from many angels throwing power punches. something mosely cannot and was never able to do. mosely is naturally stronger, but that does not necessarily translate to greater power.

 

Manny wouldn't finish Floyd. What fight makes you believe that Manny would KO Floyd if he got hurt? It is not going to happen. Floyd covers up way to well. Also Manny doesn't hit like Shane Mosley. If he did he would have KO Marg. Just my opinion.

 

What the hell is Pacquiao talking about? He's not exactly the best finisher in the game now, is he? He couldnt finish Margo, Cotto or JMM and he had them all very badly hurt. I dont think he could finish Mayweather. Mayweather can do too much in the ring.

 

I don't buy that mosely hits harder than manny. ask Oscar...

He knocked Marquez down 3 times and couldn't finish him either.

Dude please. Just bc Manny hasn't had wobbly legs does not mean he hasn't been hurt at the higher weights. If you ever boxed you would understand what I am saying. When has Manny faced a quick defensive guy who doesn't have flat feet, and has hand and foot speed that can match his? Answer that and then you will know.

cotto , couldnt wobble margo , clottey was fine the whole fight , de la hoya quit, even marquez wasnt finished off after he was knocked down 3 times

 

not even sure if that quote is real. if it were, i find it that pac has more difficulty putting his opponents away at these higher weights. as others have mentioned, i'm sure manny wanted to have koed cotto, clottey, and margo but could not do the job. i know he eased up in margo but it was more of the accumulation rather than real ko power at the weight that ruined him. last ko by manny at these weights is on hatton, and that may have very well been one of the cleanest shots one could land.

i doubt he ko's shane and floyd. there is a chance, but i highly doubt it.
