Pirog is overrated for me. He KO'd Jacobs and suddenly he has world class power. I'm just not buying it. His last performance was woeful

I think the 3 of them would be capable of beating whoever wins next saturday night, Sylvester or Geale. Not too sure about them against the other titleists though.

Barker isnt Jacobs so i wouldnt compare the two. Barker has more substance than Jacobs and would be harder to catch with that right hand. Very impressed with Barker last night, i doubt he beats guys like Williams and Martinez but i think he has more than enough to beat guys like Macklin, Lee and Sylvester and give a decent arguement to guys like Sturm and Pirog.

I think Lee is the best fighter and therefore the most likely. Depends on what dibella has planned though. Is he going to work Lee into a shot at another champ or does he plan on an in house hbo show between Lee and Martinez. If he does that Lee loses and needs time to rebuild. I think Barker did look good last night but not as good as Johnny Nelson made out. Spada still got inside on him alot , just didnt let his hands go once he did. Imo Lee and Barker will both struggle with top tier pressure fighters but are capable of beating Zbik, Chavez jr and Sylvester. I also agree with Vano that Pirog is vastly overrated and I would give all 3 a good chance against him

Is it case of Barker not having much power or is thats his last couple of opponents are tough and have strong chins to compensate to a point their lack of boxing skills?

Jacobs geez anyway too many critisize these guys they all have pros and cons but so do all boxers. Barkers last 2 opponents were tough chinned brawlers, but he ko`d former opponents, like you say just cos pirog ko`s jacobs everyone jumps and over estimate. personally i think Barker would school Pirog.

I voted for Macklin. Whilst it could be argued that there is a gnats chuff between all three and in truth they would all be quality match-ups that would have forums on fire if they were made - more so even then DeGale-Groves.

Taking that into consideration one must look at the exact wording of the title of the thread - "Who has the best chance", not who is the best, but Who has the best chance of winning a world title.

Macklin is the only one with a contracted world title fight in place. I would therefore plump for him. Also even if he loses again Sturm, which many are predicting, as long as he puts in a good showing then there is a fair chance that one of the other Germans will give him a shot.

Lee might be able to get a crack at the winner of the Chavez fight or even at Martinez :scaredas: but I dont see Barkers immediate shot at a world title so I would say the other two have a better chance of obtaining a recognised world title strap.

Why not? One win against Daniel Jacobs and suddenly he is world class with world class power? Sorry by I ain't buying it. Did you see his last fight? The guy is seriously overrated for me. I haven't seen anything from him to suggest he deals with either of the 3 easily.

I'd still like to see McEwan V Macklin and McEwan V Barker.
I hear he is moving down though. Barker said he want's a 12 rounder before a title fight I reckon he should go for Varon? or maybe even Ghevor?
