Abraham is two separate fighters at the same time. He is Arthur Abraham on offense and on defense he is a defensive fighter who cannot counter. When you throw at him 100% of the effort is in blocking without firing back. Manny could win 12 rds to 0 vs Arthur. His trainer and him have the worst rapport I have ever seen in a corner in recent years.

Yes PR is a commonwealth of the US. more autonomy than a territory, but part of the US political family.

if Abraham lands on Ward early that will cause ward to back up, and make it an interesting fight.

It's the same thing in every country. Montreal has a rivalry with Quebec city. Not even speaking about the other Canadian provinces.

Ward is fighting at home and will be until he leaves his country, named USA.

To beat Ward you have to make him doubt himself. Nobody has done that to him so far. He gets a hard time for certain aspects of his game but he is very talented and his mental toughness is something else. Would be good to see Abraham land something big early on to see how Ward reacts and if he can take an Abraham punch. Never rule Abraham out, he hurt Froch in the 12th despite been way behind.

I think people are writing AA off based on his last 2 fights.Whilst he's always been overhyped,he does some things very well and has a punchers chance against anybody at 168.Dirrell was too quick for him,and Froch too heavy handed.Even when AA was blocking Frochs punches, they were visibly moving him,and against Dirrell he never had the opportunity to set himself,Dirrell was always wary of being countered and made sure he was out of range after landing his own punches.Ward is riding high with confidence after his last 2 fights, and AA is at an all time low having been outclassed and out punched in his last 2.Now lets look at things from a different perpsective...........is Ward taking AA too lightly ? has AA learnt from his last 2 fights, and made improvements ?
A betting man will always put his money on Ward, but i'm not convinced this is a foregone conclusion.

You can say a lot about Abraham and he has several flaws, but power is not the problem. He has enough power to KO anyone also at SMW if he is able to connect with one of those hammers that almost broke Gevor's neck and put Taylor to sleep.

I would be surprised if Abraham managed to land any kind of combination on Ward. It's all about the one-shot KO for AA.

Like I wrote in the post I agree he needs to fight outside the USA :deal
