Ahhh I thought Bayaar was supposed to be fighting Chris Edwards atsch What was it, head clash or summat?
I genuinely believe if the lay off hasn't effected Haskins too badly he would brutaly Ko Sexton. Sexton reminds me of Tony Jefferies the way he seems anxious to put on a show. Hopefully last night was his wake up call.
Head clash after a minute of the first round which burst Bayaar open and because of the ****ing disgraceful BBBoC rules Edwards was awarded the TKO and the belt. The little ***** then jumped about the ring celebrating like a madman and in the interviews after the fight both he and Maloney seemed to forget that the headbutt even happened and talked about how great he had fought (the whole minute of fighting where he looked to be getting schooled), Maloney saying it was the best performance he'd ever seen against a southpaw :-(. Seriously, if there's one fighter I want to see get brutally knocked out in every fight it's Paul Edwards.
check out the interview at 5.20 "how did the cut happen?" Edwards - straight right hand. i don't know if we collided heads because i didn't really feel it
Bayaar beat him imo. Sexton, because Bayaar was having his way with him, did the same thing to Bayaar, that Smith did to Simpson in the last few rounds, he mauled him, got off first and held when he fell in, to protect himself from potential counters and cut off Bayaar's supply line. I hate it when fighters get credit for this kind of thing, when they dont get penalized for it. Sexton's interview made things even worse for me.
I dont know how he didnt feel it you can see the lump on his head were it connected during the interview!!!
