    That's it.

Thanks to "The Natural" for a legendary career and being a major piece of putting the UFC and to a smaller degree, the sport of MMA where it is today.

Well said. Win or lose Randy fought a who's who of MMA fighters from the early days through to the modern era. I know some ****er will say he lost 11 fights, but lets add some perspective Can anyone **** with this resume?

    Vitor Belfort
    Maurice Smith
    Jeremy Horn
    Kevin Randleman
    Pedro Rizzo
    Josh Barnett
    Rico Rodriguez
    Tito Ortiz
    Chuck Liddel
    Tim Sylvia
    Brock Lesnar
    Big Nog
    Gabe Gonzaga
    Mark Coleman
    James Toney
    Lyoto Machida

The guy is a true legend and deserves respect even if your not a fan of his style. Enjoy the retirement Champ

His cannonfodder was a gift decision over Vera. He had no business being in with an elite fighter like Machida.

Respect to the guy but he's never cracking the elite level again so why continue?

Yup thats pretty darn impressive right there. Randy fought 12 MMA World Champions from that list beating 7 of them most of them at a very advanced age and some of them being much bigger. You should also think about him beating Gonzaga a 2004 World Jiujitsu Champion, James Toney a future HOF boxer as we know, Jeremy Horn an MMA legend in his own right, and throw in a couple Ws over a feared Pedro Rizzo in his prime. Randy Couture is every bit deserving of the word legend.

I'm glad he has retired. He is old, slower and doesn't have the same punch resistance. He always seemed a step behind Machida. I think a young Couture could still give him fits.
