That surprises the hell out of me! I saw Pacquiao in an earlier video and he said he was about 144.

That's a good weight. I'm not too surprised. Someone his height in decent shape would weigh about that.

He even mentioned before the Cotto fight he was weighing 155, but that was before training and getting lean. I'm hoping the extra muscle mass doesn't slow him down or tire him out since he may not be used to it.

Considering the Marquez fight might be next Marquez will be at a clear disadvantage when it comes to weight at 147.

Martinez is banking on Pacquiao being so much smaller than him... the more he knows Pac can carry the weight... well there go his chances.

We still need to see if Pac can carry the weight and maintain his speed.

Martinez clearly would have more in his corner than just a weight advantage.

This, right here, is why a full 147 fight with JMM wouldn't go well. Pac's frame can bulk up something serious if they choose to. He has to be durable for anything Mosley is going to throw at him, even if he is shot.

At 147 pac bulks up comes in as a light middleweight against Marquez... just like mayweather...

Bulking up for the little Marquez Nehemiah...

This is why mawuez trilogy needs to be 140... they ate gonna bulk his ass up in fear at 147 limit.

He shouldn't be aiming for a specific weight, I've heard this before from his team. He needs to be in the best possible shape and not be dehydrated, that's far more important than coming in heavy just because that's what the limit is.

if he is too bulky that's just gonna slow him down though. I think he shoud just get in the best shape possible.

They stated at the beginning of camp that Pac agreed with Ariza to bulk up more in order to avoid taking the same kind of damage from the Margarito fight. For this fight, they have been targeting coming in at 146-147 at weigh-in.

Manny was 152 or 153 in the ring against Clottey, heaviest he's ever been because they thought it'd be good to get as close to Clottey as possible in terms of weight/strength (Ariza's idea), but Pac said he felt slower than usual, so that's why he made sure he was only 148 on fightnight against Margarito.

Manny won't be any higher than 148 against Mosley, take my word for it.

Same as Pac would absolutely KTFO anyone who weighed 25lbs lighter than him. :good
