take the pac fight. when is he going to get another chance at a super fight? im sure he knows there arent many miles left on that body and a showcase fight guaranteeing 5 million for a lightweight champ is a great way to wind down a superb career.

take the pac fight. chasing pac by itself did him dividends. might as well continue the goal

Say what you want, marquez was too big a threat to pacquiao considering what arum was planning.Kinda sad pacquiao waited 3 years to even consider the trilogy.Like mayweather he wants to make sure the odds or on his side.**** YOU PACQUAIO.

I'd get some awesome fights at LW and Jr. WW in, maybe that 4th title, and fight Pac after his Floyd business, as a farewell fight, as long as I'm still kickin ass. Depends on the money as well. 5 Million in one shot is pretty good, but if I can get a the same amount over the course of 3 or 4 fights and then probably get Pac anyway within a year, it makes more sense to wait and add to my legacy and make even more dough long-term.

this is kind of revisionist history. pac was ready to accept an immediate rematch while jmm di not accept it. we all know what happened and jmm was fighting the likes of jaca and jandaeng and even lost to john in indonesia.

now we are seeing the same circumstance, jmm is being offered $5M to accept a pac fight or go on to fight the likes of judah and morales at 140.

That is what I do to.. Obviously we know JMM has aged well, and was a late bloomer since he was so avoided early in his career. IMO he still has Plenty of fights left.

It would be smart to let PAC fight against bigger guys...and let him be in wars as he always looks like he has been to hell and back after the fights. Espcially cotto, those take a toll on you.... and who knows how will age...

We do know how JMM has aged.. JMM could wait a bit and a BUST a PACUIAO attack the name fighter at the right time. PACQUIAO will always be there anyways and this fight will always be demanded. JMM is lucky to be in this position he can go GBP for a year take on PAC late 2012 in the end of the world.. jaja

PAC avoided 7 million for a rematch after the 2nd fight.. but took on Diaz for 3 Million...

Talk about duck... Both sides have done it.. except JMM did it because he didn't want to be with ARUM anymore as he would still be tied down to TR...

PAC didn't cause his promoters said NO MAS... JMM was supposed to get knocked out and instead we had to give him a controversial 1 point SD win.

what if judah beats him in his first fight at 140 then its all for nothing, fighting pac then go down and add legacy is the smarter move for financial reasons

A loss to a 140 pounder would only increase his chances of getting a PAC fight.

Ask Margo/Mosely.. there losses nor lay offs or shitty showings had no effect on landing the PACQUIAO sweepstakes.

anyways a judah fight is an easy win for marquez :happy
