Henry Cooper vs Joe Calzaghe (both Prime)

    Bunce discussed this fight on Setanta a few years back as the weight differential was not that big.

    In light of the tributes on here for Sir Henry I thought it would be an ideal moment to revive the point

    Henry Cooper wasn't that great as a fighter to be honest. I suppose this might seem tactless, but he was a work horse more than anything. A good work horse, but skill wise and athletically there wasn't too much going on. A very very brave trier with a decent dig, and theres nothing wrong with that, ultimately he'll be remembered for what he gave to boxing and thats proving to be the case.

    I do see a lot of people beating him at all kinds of weights, and lets be honest the 'robbed against Ali' line is silly.

    Calzaghe would be too fast and skilled imo.

    That said Cooper could change everything with that left hook, if he hit the sweet spot it WAS devestating
