'Shane, I've seen your last two fights'

    -Freddy

...actually that quote was for Margarito, but you see the pattern here

Mosley's been hit or miss for years. Some fights he's looked pretty bad, others he's looked like a world-beater. The Mora fight was beyond bad. He looked just about done. This upcoming win for Pacquiao will mean as much (probably less) than the Clottey win. Mosley's a shell of his former hall of fame self.

Maybe Mosley's 'gameplan' was to just scrape through looking pretty dire so that Pacroid and Roach would leap on a fight with him afterward. Actually I know that is far fetched but if Mosely had starched Mora fast Saturday's fight would not be happening.

Your theory is utter bull**** given that Mayweather went on the attack after the second round. Mosley was evidently stunned by Mayweather's power and speed and was inactive as a result. It wasn't a defensive fight for Mayweather after he was stunned. Mosley won't stop punching against Emmanuel.

Pac couldn't KO a static Clottey or crest fallen Margo, he aint finishing Sugar Shane.

So he was stunned by Mayweather's power and speed and stopped punching as a result? But somehow he won't be with Pacquiao's superior power and speed and WILL keep punching?

Clottey's durable as hell and has a ridiculously tight guard. Shane's defense is porous and he keeps his left down and relies a lot on (badly faded) reflexes. And if he undergoes anything close to the punishment Margarito did, Nazim will throw in the towel. He wasn't that far off from doing it against Mayweather. He's no Robert Garcia who will allow his fighter to get his brains beat in mercilessly.

Mosley looked his age. Yes Mora is an awful styles match up for most but come on. Brian Vera beat Mora convincingly. Its always gonna make you look bad fighting him but he can be beaten even if its an ugly win. The Vera fight showed that we cant really use the styles makes fights excuse because Vera and Mosley both have come forward styles. Vera who is much lesser than Mosley clearly defeated Mora. Mosley although i am a big fan of and i seriously dislike Mora i could not give the fight to Mosley. I thought a draw was accurate.

Im putting my money on a Pac TKO. Ref or corner stoppage.
Im also putting some money on rounds 9-11

I agree.... I see Richardson throwing in the towel in the 8th - 11th round... Mosely may be too tough for his own good in this fight. He'll just keep taking punishment but won't go down. Richardson was close to stopping the fight when Shane fought Mayweather... so I know he'll have to stop it against Manny.

he looked bad cuz mora did not want to engage, mora ran and held the whole fight, shane struggles with movement as it is,and he was chasing a lot, with mora not wanting to make a fight of it and doing a real dirrell vs froch impression.

Dont say shane is 100 per cent past it cuz he lost to floyd an atg defensive boxer and mora,a chicken sht coward who wanted to spoil and not lose.

HE Wont beat pac tbh,its very unlikely, pac is the aggresive fighter boxer that shane wished he was tbh,as much as i do like sugar shane mosley,i know his limitations and styles that dont do well for him.

GBP should have had shane a better fight before this,vs a straight forwarrd infront of you slugger,or even someone kinda difficult like pac, maybe judah, but they put him in with spoiler mora!.

i think mora after doing so bad to not fight in the shane fight, decided that vs vera he would try and be less evasive/spoiler and engage more tbh, this made it easier for vera than it was for shane.

and why they had shane go in a tricky style match up right after a loss i dont know, not best for his confidence or anything!.

shane did look gassed though, did worry me.
