He looked really flat against Guerrero and was badly outclassed.

New trainer? Move up to 140? Retire?

Retire. The man never learned to box. I don't want to see him take anymore punishment. That's not ammusing to me.

He is a decent gatekeeper and I hope he stays in the game.

The smartest move would be to go to the UK and fight John Murray. That would draw a good crowd and Kats is well known in the UK.

    He'd smoke Johnno.

Take a few easy fights and try and get a shot at Rios.

Good post. That would be the most sensible move. Dont want to see him end up as a measuring stick for young fighters

I would really like him to win a world title but he comes up short against the very best. I think he deserves a few easy fights and I think a new trainer would have done him a world of good no less than 2 years ago but he is not going to change now.
Will probably appear on future lists for the best boxer never to have become a world champion.

dont see why this would be the answer, he came up short at world class , doesn't make a fighter crap. he just needs to know his level, hes been over here and kicked our fighters arse's (uk) enough times

i genuinely like katsidis as a person and a fighter i always think alot of boxing fans think there is only one level and that world title level and if you come up short you should hang up your gloves

having said that alot of fighters think that way too and im sure katsidis would disagree with me

How about Miguel Acosta? He's coming off a KO, would be a good undercard fight for sure that I would like to see.

He has just been matched with people that can dissect his style in his last 2 title shots...

He needs fight where he can shine...

Like Rios, Antillon, Maybe even Soto but that probably go like his recent 2 fights if Soto is any good. Move to 140 and fight Maidana... he still brings excitement to the game...

Rios is not the fight for Katsidis. LW is heating up and Katsidis just wont be able to handle it. I say he can fight Soto or Antillon and those fights he might have a chance at them but he shoudl stay away from Rios, Acosta, JMM, Guerrero and Vasquez.

Isnt there a philipino at LW. Gesta i think. When is he gonna step up to the plate??
