Apart from toney who did jones beat ? Not one other big super middle weight you think of then you think of the 1990s

There where so many fights out there at the time for him to take. eubank, benn, Barkley hopkins, collins, nunn, McClellan. Considering all the names out there and the amount of talent the man had, his resume is absolute dog**** at suppermiddle.

Kessler wasnt his usual self when he beat Froch but you dont note that Froch had travel complications and thought the fight was cancelled.
    Now read the post

Toney, Malinga and Thornton. It's not his most impressive set of wins in the weight class but H2H he is the best.

Compare Jones whole resume to Calzaghe's dog**** resume look at this lol.

    Joe Calzaghe

    Super Middleweight

    Robin Reid
    Jeff Lacy
    Mikkel Kessler
    Chris Eubank
    Richie Woodhall
    Omar Sheika
    Byron Mitchell
    Charles Brewer

(don't even try to put Bika up on this list, who the hell did he even beat?)

    Light Heavyweight

    Bernard Hopkins

Roy Jones isn't even worth mentioning as a good win for him.

    VS.

    Roy Jones

    Middleweight

    Jorge Castro
    Thomas Tate
    Bernard Hopkins

    Super Middleweight

    Tony Thornton
    James Toney
    Thulani Malinga

    Light Heavyweight

    Merqui Sosa
    Montell Griffin
    Antonio Tarver
    Clinton Woods
    Eric Harding
    Virgil Hill
    Reggie Johnson

    Heavyweight

    John Ruiz

    No comparison

James Toney even has a better resume than Calzaghe

    Middleweight

    Mike McCallum
    Merqui Sosa
    Reggie Johnson
    Michael Nunn

    Super Middleweight

    Tim Littles
    Iran Barkley
    Tony Thornton
    Doug DeWitt
    Charles Williams

    Cruiserweight

    Vasilliy Jirov

    Heavyweight

    Evander Holyfield

Why are you bringing up Calzaghe again :patsch.
Remember Jones and Toney are proven cheats and Calzaghe has a better SMW resume than Jones and Toney and a better LHW resume than Toney and beat Jones at LHW when Jones was #6 by The Ring and many predicted Jones to win. Calzaghe didnt fight in any other division but also isnt a PEDs cheat.
Dont forget also how M Veit has a better SMW resume than Dirrell and Mkertchyan accomplished more at SMW than Dirrell. Starie was world rated and beat undefeated Woods who you note on Jones resume.

You note T Tate as a good win for Jones but dont note that Tate backed out of fighting Calzaghe.
The funny one is you noting Jirov as a good win for Toney. What were Jirovs top 5 wins?

i agree Calzaghe has a better SMW resume than Jones, but overall don't you believe Jones has the better resume?

i could'nt give two ****s about dirrell or ward, the both suck.

I know calzaghe's resume isn't that good. Thats not the point.

and the malinga fight was at middleweight. Jones has impressed with his ability to move through the weight classes. But with all the talent he had and natural ability, he never tested himself against the top men. If you look at his recorded his resume is missed some big names.

Personally for me he could cut out 20 or so bull**** fights and just took 4 or 5 big names. Even if he lost some of them it wouldn't matter. At least he would of tried and he should of definitely retired after the Ruiz fight. Thats in a ideal world anyway.

To be honest, Jones Jr and Calzaghe have very similar resumes - Jones Jr has the bigger names on his card and is more of a multiweight champion which favours him but it's closer than you'd think.

How could u even think of having Ward in 1st?

Besides Kessler he has nobody. Tell me who Allan Green, Edison Miranda and Sakio Bika have beat?
