If Lopez keeps a good conditioning from here to october-means dont gain too much weight-and work around a more technical fight he could win.
    But it wont be easy.

! Boricuas don't worry ! ! LOPEZ WILL WIN IT ! ! Arum will make sure ! Simply put he ( Arum ) has invested too much in the " Juanma " hype to see it all gone down the sink because of a B+ fighter ( Salido ) that doesn't even belong to him , Salido will make way more money than Lopez in that rematch
( and not because he's the Champ ) , it's all bussiness , **** if you come to think about it .... ¿ Who was the first person who started the damage control as soon as Lopez lost ? it was Arum , not even Lopez had an excuse afterwards , ¿ Who keeps insisting that there's a future for a Gamboa/Lopez fight ? yes it's Arum, it's all Arum , it's always Arum , from Boxers to fans we are just his puppets , so Arum the puppet master won't let that happen , Lopez will win and he will fight Gamboa sooner now than later . Peace.

I agree with Stevenson, They are already saying that the rematch is to take place in Puerto Rico!? Salido deserves to have this fight in his backyard or at least Vegas. Nope, Arum will make sure Lopez has what he needs to make sure he wins this time.

Will the rematch be in Mexico? It only seems fair since Salido went to PR for the first fight. Now that he is champion he deserves to fight at home.

Also i thin JuanMa would have to make many adjustments to be able to win and he hasnt shown the willingness to do so. I thought JuanMa was going to outbox Salido for 12 but when he started trading with him i mentioned in the RBR thread he was gonna get KOd soon.
He could not hurt Salido and Salido could definitely hurt him with either hand.

JuanMa has to come in and fight a stinker which means alot of clinching and lateraly movement which is the complete opposite of him. He likes to entertain his fans and thats why he is popular. He has to decide wether he will fight for his fans in the rematch or for his own glory. Either decision is fine by me.

Salido is a tough underrated cookie guys. You still can't realize it? Salido could be Lopez' kryptonite. That being said, Lopez hasn't looked good since hammering out Gerry Penalosa. He seems to have lost the bounce in his step that he had against Ponce De Leon.

I think Salido wins again I just think its a bad match up and thats all it is

losing to a guy twice isnt horrible plenty of greats have 2 losses to one guy but they get over it and go on to great things

its nice to see Juanma actually rematch a guy who beat him very honorable

Don't worry Atri, Salido will make Lopez " llorar y llorar, llorar y llorar " una vez mas, and in Puerto Rico. :yep

But, much credit for Lopez as he took his loss like a man and didn't put up any excuses, at least he is a real Champion in that department. :good

Like someone here said, Salido could be Lopez's " Kriptonite " .

:rofl. Oh, I give Lopez every ounce of credit, he didn't hold, run, or quit. He fought like a warrior until it was stopped. and made no excuses afterwards, Arum made all the excuses. There was no " llorando " from Lopez, that was all the Boricuas' supporters. But if he does loose the rematch he will be " llorando " :crybaby

It just sucks if they do make the rematch in Puerto Rico, that just won't be right.
