GBP plans JMM-Canelo to match TopRank's PAC-JMM 3 offer

    I don't think so. GBP will do another weighing scale magic job again.

    Floyd got away being 2 lbs. overweight (vs JMM) and same with Canelo being 1.4 lbs. over (vs. M. Hatton) with the helped of GBP. I think they will do it again.

    It looks like Oscar is at the point where he doesn't even care about Juan's career. He just wants to make sure top rank can't "use" Juan Marquez.

    Canelo is green, but he will be too strong and big for JMM. If past his prime Katz hurt JMM, imagine what Canelo would do.

    I dont know if golden girl will throw there top prospect to JMM, risk reward is too little! But it would be cool to see who would ultimately wear the top crown as Mexico's #1 fighter.

    JMM stands to gain nothing even if he beats Canelo. Canelo who? Fight Pac and you stand a chance to earn up to $7M with the PPV buys, and a chance to beat an ATG. winning against Pac would make him into a Mexican legend, outranking both Morales and Barrera in the list of Mexican greats

    atleast now nobody can blame jmm for going the pac routem gbp trying to screw him over, its his only option.

    JMM taking this Canelo offer only means he wants none of Pac and was only using Pac to hype his fights

    I don't think JMM has accepted the offer. The way I understand it is GBP is throwing out a Canelo/JMM IF JMM stays with GBP for the same amout as a Pac/JMM.

    The thing is that Canelo can't make 150lbs much less 147lbs and is just a screw up waiting to happen on JMM if he goes the GBP route. Canelo will be too big, too strong for JMM. Even though I don't like the idea of a JMM/Pac III, for JMM retirement fund, its the best that he can do.
