If i eat junk food and dont exercise it turns to fat.How long do i have before it turns to fat? For e.g If i eat a chocolate bar at 11am and train at 3pm will i burn it all off? or with junk food dose some of it always stay with you..i tend to eat a lil bit of junk after dinner about 9pm but i go for a run first thing in the morning about 7am.How long do i have 1 hour,5 hours, 10 hours..?

Your snickers bar eaten in the morning won't be fat by the afternoon, no.

And does this question really matter?

I do not know the exact scientific timescale, but to me this is a redundant question. If you eat some **** and train, you will use it, at some point, as fuel.

You have 12 minutes and 23 seconds before it turns to fat.

And if you're a woman with a "glandular" condition, like many of them claim, merely looking at food adds inches to your hips and thighs.

Here's a thought, don't exercise and every night sit on the couch after dinner, snack on chips & dip, cookies & milk, candy bars and sodas. Then, after a month tell us how much weight you gained and that's your answer.

You wanna know how fast brah?

2 weeks ago I was 168. Posted it in the forum here somewhere I think. Today I'm 186.

For ten days I basically crammed as much food into me as possible. I got fat.

If you clean up your eating in 1-2 weeks you will be around 170-171 though.

Nah I know so bro, 20lbs in 2 weeks? Unless you are seriously ill then you won't have gained that permanently. At most 4-5lbs, the rest is water, time of day, constipation, leftover in your gut, etc.
I guess you've been eating a lot of **** food, lots of quick carbs, that sort of thing?

sometimes after major fasting your brain can be completely brainwashed. the experiences in the past trying to make weight has led me to believe the brain craves and is addicted to unhealthy food. when depriving the brain from its addiction for awhile it has the same effect as an alcoholic. when you give in, you give in plus over consumed until your brain has had enough of the stuff its addicted too.

elite athletes should learn to manage this addiction instead of turning into a fatty after weigh ins. the long term effect of binge eating and anorexia will turn ultimately turn the perfect body into a piece of ****.

True statement. Those 18lbs of fat would mean you ate at least 4500 calories over your maintenance each day for two weeks, which would prob be anywhere around 6500-7500 calories every day, so unless you did that, it's basically what MrSmall said.

You haven't gained ten pounds of anything permanent in 10 days mate, its all bloat and water retention past about 2-4 lbs.
If you keep it up for a month though, sure you can gain 10lbs.
