Ive just read that golden boy are offering Juan Manuel Marquez a fight with Saul Alvarez after the Rhodes fight. I think this is a daft thing to be doing, that is looking past Rhodes, your thoughts??

At welterweight JMM would box Canelo's head off, that fight will not happen tho, bull****. I'm going with Rhodes to pull off the upset, never been impressed with Alvarez.

I think the offer is at 147, i think Alvarez is angry at marquez for slating his win against Matt

As its a business its not to silly looking into a fighters future. Rhodes lost to Lockett so i dont think Alvarez is too worried!

They think Rhodes is a schmuck and a nice touch before the ''big fights''.

ODLH made a comment before the Hatton fight which insinuated Hatton was better then Rhodes who nobody ever heard of. I know some will say he said that at the time to suit the bout that he was promoting but i think he believes Rhodes is ****.

It be funny when Canelo gets hit a few times to see his face and realize The Spice Boy still got it.

Whose to say Lockett would`nt have beat Alvarez??? I forever keep saying boxing is not as black and white as so many so called fans think. Look at the Skills of both Alvarez and Rhodes then assess. Your view point is kinda saying that Lacy should have beat Calzaghe cos he had stopped Reid if only it were so simple.....

Yeah Alvarez might agree to it but then when it comes to the weigh in.....oh no look im not a light as I thought can we make it a catchweight..

For someone who is supposed to be one of the next big guns he sure made hard work of Matt and was very easy to hit..

There's some good light middle weights out there with decent names; rather him face on of those. And no there's nothing wrong with looking past Rhodes; Alvarez is simply on another level to Rhodes.

Hate the way Goldenboy use Marquez as a stepping stone or part of some deal.

They used him for mayweather, now for Alveraz

    ****S!!!!!!!
