For a lot of reasons like the following. First, Floyd won't make it a fight like Mosley would. Floyd would be defensive like in JMM fight, but since he won't be able to bully this 147lb power Pac, he'd be content to throw quick but uncommitted punches so as not to compromise his defense. You can be sure Floyd will use his feet also like he did in Baldomir. If he trades with Pac he gets Osama Bin Ladened so he wont do that. Most importantly, Floyd doesnt possess the one punch KO power Mosley posseses. Second, Pac vs. Mosley presents a great clash of styles. No one is gonna run or backpedal. The two will throw bombs, and Mosley got a great chance to unload his as Pac is come-forward fighter unlike Floyd or Mora. Mosley also has killer instinct, so if he thinks Pac is hurt, he goes in for kill. And as likeable as Mosley is outside ring, he is an a-hole inside, so you can be sure he will get no mercy from Pac who will be gunning for KO. IMO, Pac-May is overrated as real fight. It may happen, Id like for it to happen of course, but it wont be a fight as the one happening in a few days. Pac-May would be tactical and could go the way of the Pac-JMM fights which many find boring and could actually disappoint the world viewership. Imagine if Pac-Mosley was the fight clamored for by the world. The world would be converted, the fight would bring in new fans, in the millions.
Honestly the best fights are when you have two styles that just mesh well together, Mosley and Pacs style does not do that for me, you have Manny who is a well rounded boxer/puncher who likes to come forward and place his shots, then you have Mayweather who is a boxer/counterpuncher who likes to draw you in and make you pay for comming forward... To me that fight makes more sense not in terms of money but in terms of seeing what boxing is about at its best.
Maybe but the Floyd fight is whats in public demand Floyd's precision and accuracy will equate to power Mosley has the power but not he ability to land it cleanly or constant and why knock the Marquez fights those are Manny's most exciting fights if the Floyd fight is anything like them that would exceed my expectations of a strategic slow fight where Floyd catches Manny with counters and gets his attention slowing the fight down to the typical Floyd UD
We get it. You love Pac. And hate facts (as your avatar indicates). But must you create so many topics about it? It's like the nowaday gays. They are not content with being homosexual. They need the whole world to know about it, and agree that it's fabulous.
It's okay to be hyped and excited for a fight but don't let your very own hype make you look foolish. This fight is in no way better than Pac-Mayweather.
Couldn't happen---Pac had to fight by March 2010, Mosley was lined up with Berto (which was cancelled, what, a week or 2 later), Floyd was ducking, Margarito's still suspended. Clottey was the best WW at the time
The point is, which is not so hard to understand, is that Pac-Mosley will make it a fight, while Pac-May would in all likelihood involve one who would be boringly defensive like he was in the Dela Hoya fight.
Nothing wrong man. Pac could be sooner gone than most of you think. He could actually be gone by now if the wars and distractions have taken toll.
mosley-pac is naturally a better fight for egoylover because manny should win this. May-pac isn't the better fight for egoylover because manny loses.
Compare pbf delahoya to pbf mosley. That was a different floyd that was on the offensive.Cue music, End Thread....
