De La Hoya was never there for the taking. He was dangerous throughout. He had a decent workrate at first, but he faded at the end. Mayweather isn't an aggressive fighter, he won't go for the KO unless his opponent is hurt, and he never hurt De La Hoya in their fight. I don't think Pac really hurt De La Hoya either, in spite of all the punches he landed. De La Hoya has a good chin.
LOL really Pac never hurt DLH? Do you even realize what you're saying, and the negative implications your Floyd love got on your common sense? :hi:
My man we've been watching 2 different guys. Floyd can't trade with Pac? That's truly laughable! Are you really being objective? Really?
I agree that their styles make for a better fight. But lets be honest all of pacs fight are more entertaining (for the majority of people) as he throws more, gets hit more, and actually looks for a KO. But if Shane was in the same boat as he was when Mayweather fought him and he was not recognised as a shot fighter then everyone would be pumped for it. Thats the difference in Pac taking the fight now.
Yea, one guy is ATG, the other a criminal. Floyd cant trade with Pac, because then, all his perceived "advantages" will get thrown out of the window. Hatton traded with Pac. Cotto traded with Pac. Marg traded with Pac. You saw what happened. :hi:
Lets not pretend Shane did not lose a lot before the Mayweather fight. Lets also not pretend that Shane does not do better against offensive than defensive fighters. Styles makes fights.
If you believe either of those things you really should get out more. Margo traded with Mosley too and got knocked the **** out for his trouble. Floyd> Mosley> Margo> Cotto.
