How Do You Beat Manny Pacquiao @ WELTERWEIGHT ?

You can't trade with him he will get the best of you.
You are not going to have more stamina than him.
You can't be cautious he will attack you.
If you try to counterpunch him you will get hit with something you can't see.

So what can you do ?

box him, backpedaling, be dedicated to the body (its very hard to hit him clean on his head), make him miss then knock him out late.

There really is nobody at WW that can do that and the last guy at WW who ppl said had the best defense once he lost a step certainly can't stop Manny with defense like this. I forget his name but he never really was tested by cotto or clottey anyway.

Make him miss, use plenty of foot defense. Stick a fast jab in his face, attempt to halt his rhythm and offense. Pacquiao is hittable with a good straight right. Be prepared to throw punches in 2 and 3 phases (Example: Stick the jab to his head, use your feet to create space, as Pacquiao steps in 2-3 shots, then be prepared to throw again if needed). Clinching is vital against his fast combinations, and is essential if he has you on the ropes or in trouble. Pacquiao can get frustrated because he fights for the fans, he loves to fight...his opponent needs to take advantage of that. Take advantage of his "breaks" in rounds. A good ring IQ. Have the stamina to fight 12 hard rounds.

That sounds easier said than done really.

:rofl Good one. Floyd is still capable imo. I haven't seen a fight that leads me to believe he can't move, counter, and defend. Remember, Shane didn't even land 100 punches. Also Shane said Floyd has really quick feet.

The last guy who said he would whoop pac's ass went on vacation and lost his urge.

There's no blueprint to beat the beast @147.

Again Floyd can look good vs any fighter that is not in great condition. I don't know how you can call a 39 year old out of the ring for 16 months well conditioned. Look how Floyd drops his guard when he counters and only counters with one punch. Look how Floyd drops both hands like he did vs Judah in the second round. Manny will exploit the **** out of him.
