When fighting in Scotland Warren will promote him as being Scottish but vice versa in England probably

Headlining a show without an opponent named is always a sign of the champion taking on the world number 134 from a division lower than the stated weight class..

I wonder what Bum Warren is going to pull out this time for Burns, I am a fan of Ricky but he needs to step up, I am losing patience.

Nicky Cook would actually be better than Laryea, Evensen and whoever's next though. At least he's British and would actually put up a fight and wouldn't be forced to travel thousands of miles.

Echo arena good stuff more boxing in Liverpool. Will be interesting to see how this sells though without one of the Smith brothers fighting.

Would shock me to see Paul & Stepehn added to the bill.

It's ashame that more Scottish prospects won't get the chance to fight on a Burns undercard again soon as it doesn't look like they'll be put on a liverpool bill.

Echo arena is good though, I was down for Paul Smith vs Dodson and it was a decent atmosphere. A good five hours on the bus to get down there though. Hopefully Burns will get some good numbers down from coatbridge.

Any word of an opponent yet Billy?

Even if it is Nicky Cook it is another terrible defence.
