He doesn't have the ability to beat Sherman Williams...he was on his way to getting stopped in that fight. Toney beat him ages ago, as did Ibragimov. Sure, got sentimental credit for his performance against a totally disinterested Valuev, but the top 15 HW's probably would have beaten Valuev at that time. Haye would brutalize Holy, Adamek would outbox him and make him look like an amateur. The Holyfield from the Williams fight would be steamrolled by Arreola. Chambers would have a blast in the ring against Holy, similar to his win against Dimitrenko.
If Evander wins any title, it shows what a joke the heavyweights are. After he lost to James Toney many years back by being beaten in everyway, I thought his career was done. He might win the IBA or whatever titles are around now. WBF?
Hes 15 or more years past his prime. But I would give him a slight chance against Haye. Based on his performance and Haye's performance against Valuev. Holyfield and Hopkins dont get old very quickly. Just like Archie Moore. Some fighters are shot before they reach 30. These guys are 45+ and still are good fighters (especially Hopkins)
