Seriously I have been hearing about this fight since the night it happend, (didnt order the PPV just read about it) how Mora was robbed (by few) how mosley won the fight etc.... I watched that **** last night and I can not beleive how so many people here can argue Mosley got his ass beat, or that he lost or that Mora was robbed and so on.... can any of you who actually argue that garbage point out to me at which point in the fight did Sergio Mora step up and use ring generalship? at which point did he dictate and control the flow of the fight? (when did it appear that he even wanted to ****ing fight?) at which point was he landing clean effective blows? at which point was he using a solid defense? (well you have to want to be in a fight for that to be a factor) To me and I am going to be honest with you, To me Mora made that an ugly fight from the start, he did alot of holding alot of putting his head down low, way too much moving away (this is **** you give Floyd **** for yet you want to praise mora for it?:huh) I am sorry but some people are just ****ing ******ed, at no point during that fight did Sergio take control or make it some what of a fight he did win a few rounds and sure shane did get hit but I do agree with what the ring side observers said, Mosley basicly threw caution to the wind trying to make it more of a fight due to the style that Mora brought in with him that night so of course he is going to get hit.... Wide UD for Mosley I wont use the term robbed, but I will say shame on you to those who scored it a draw or claim mora whipped that ass.....
I have not seen this fight because everyone keep telling how boring and ugly it is, same with wlad vs ibragimov, I want to know something though, in what round did mosley gassed vs mora?
Thats why I held off on watching it, cus I heard the same **** but since hearing all these pac tards using that **** recently I thought it would be best to look at it first before commenting.... Umm honestly Mosley didnt gas in this fight, sure he was tired but when your trying to box in a wrestling match and a mini track meet of course your going to get tired... hard to describe what I am saying here but if you watch the fight you would know what I am talking about, Mora was John Ruizing his way through that fight.
Mora was robbed. Mosley landed **** while the Latin Fake sneaked in a lot plus his punches seemed to the more damage. On a round by round basis I had Mora winning 8-4 and I myself really doubt anyone's ability to score a fight or actually properly watch if he/she saw Mosley applying EFFECTIVE pressure over 12. Mora pulled a sweet (and boring) science on Sugar but I guess just a few actually cared for the details. Oh well, who really cares about Mora especially now that he lost. The real story however is how disturbingly shot once a great aggressor Shane Mosley looked vs. a completely drained no-puncher. Good luck watching an old man getting beat up on Saturday, $55 well spent...
I know Shane is shot, but damn I think your eyes are whats shot to **** here, Mosley was the effective agressor the entire night, and you had 8 rounds in favor of Mora:-( I just dont see how really... he barley threw any effective punches, let me say this clearly the kid fights like an amateur..
Look it's not a fight we're gonna have a heated argument about, doesn't worth it or deserves it. I saw Mora doing the clean effective punching even if selective and saw Shane being largely ineffective. I don't favor aggression, I score for effectiveness and there was a disparity between the two.
No fight needed, but seriously you reward that ****ing cowardly style of fighting? there is a difference between art and ****, what Mora brought was ****, Mosley didnt exactly bring the art, but he did bring the other stuff, the willingness to make it a fight and the balls to do what ever it took to make it a fight... that does count... and if you are going to argue that Mora was effective for 8 of those 12 rounds I have a big ****ing problem with that, honestly I do~
running = leet boxing skills yo I think I had it basically even for Mora and Mosley until round 8 where I just cut the stream and switched to Netflix
Exactly the ****in problem, too many people seem to think just cus you moving around your showing skills....
Its the best defense. There is no point in standing on front of your opponent and get punched in the face
I scored it for mosley. I couldn't give rounds to mora with the way he 2as Was fighting. Mosley did a bad job of cutting the ring off but was still making the fight and landing way more punches
Mosley was aggressive, but he didn't land anything significant. He usually landed on forearms, shoulders, and elbows. Mora wasn't exciting or slick, but he blocked the punches and landed his. He also landed the more telling blows in which you could see Mosley's head knocked back. If you wanted to see who won just look at their faces at the end of the match. Mosley look like a beaten man where as Mora looked like he won a trip to Disneyland, haha.
