He spouts this **** all the time and yet people still give him the time of day. The guy is a horrible journo, but good for gossip. Take him with a pinch of salt.

Also, what years of bull****?...I don't acknowledge and never have acknowledged any years of bull**** with regard to Haye...check my harsh comments live on BBC after the Thompson fight...check my savage copy in The Independent after the Twite loss...glass houses...did somebody mention glass houses?
I don't knock Haye because I still don't think there is any reason to knock him. Simple as that, sorry.
Sadly, to get back to Danno...he went down in my estimation when he showed up on Ringside talking like a man with a gagging order attached to his bollocks!

A fella made a thread here a few months back criticising you for not calling Haye out on the farce that was the Harrison fight. You admitted it was a **** match up and he had been ducking the Klitschkos but said you couldn't confront him about it because he wouldn't return to your show or do anymore interviews with you. Now I totally understand your position and I've no issue with that. You have to do what you have to do. but you're in no position to accuse other journalists of lacking balls.

 

I don't think Steve lacks balls to be fair.

My main issue with him (in fact my only issue with him to be honest) is his refusal to confront Haye over various issues..... the Harrison debacle, the constant negotiations crap delaying the Klitschko fights and so on.

He just seems to accept everything what Haye says as the truth rather than taking it at face value.

I understand that some boxers (and sportsmen/women generally) can be a bit diva-ish, but if you can't accept criticism or answer difficult questions then you're ****ed basically.

Obviously we don't want him calling Haye a ducker like Rafael does, but a slightly more on-point line of questioning as we see aimed at everybody else would help people understand the truth of the matter.

I don't believe that a self publicising media ***** like Haye would refuse the opportunity to go on Steve's show just because of a change of tack in terms of line of questioning.

Not that it really matters, Klitschko will chin him and he'll **** off, fingers crossed.

Hopefully he can get Eddie or Barry on this week's show to discuss their big signing and where they see his career going after the next two fights. Froch is the sort that deserves attention, balls to the wall warrior in the ring and a likeable bloke (seemingly) out of it.

 

I've put Haye on spot over Aud ...he repeatd that he said it would be a massacre. Can't argue with that.
I've pushed him and Adam on the Klitschko front...pushed them, trust me...nobody pushes the Klitschkos and their triple rematch contracts!
I happen to believe Haye/Booth more than I believe Big Dan and the K Brothers. Sorry.

People are too harsh on Haye. We can talk as much as we want about what both sides choose to argue about, but the fact is, there is a very long list of people who have criticized the Klitschko brothers and how they go about business. Because of the way the brothers act, in particular Wlad, people think they are automatically the good guys who are always fair and so on. The problem is though, nobody else has said Hayemaker are awkward to work with or unprofessional and their fights get done quickly and easily whereas if you compare that to the Klitschkos, and you'll find a long list of people who have an axe to grind with them.

Since the start of K2 Promotions, not one promoter has had as many allegations thrown their way as them. Not Arum, not King, not GBP, not Warren and so on, and K2 only really promote two fighters. They are the company who have blatantly broken rules, offered terrible deals, made unprecedented demands, yet they get away with it. Why?

Many say that the Klitschkos are without blame, but compare Haye's and K2's history tell me who is far more likely to have created the problems.
