Ok then. What ever Floyd is going to do to win, then that's what it's going to take to beat Pac.

Well to begin with you can't reach in that's where he starts testing you with his right hooks. He won't use his straight left until he tests his right hooks first, it's like his jab. I'd use El Terribles method of fighting from a crouch and countering his left, not his right because he always finishes with his left. Manny is a midrange fighter, not a long range or a close range, so you have to take full advantage in either one and not fight Manny's fight.

I'd constantly move to my left to avoid his straight left and keep him at the end of the jab, double jabbing, using feints constantly in the center of the ring. I'd switch hit and stay southpaw to confuse him. I wouldn't use too many hooks on him as they'd leave you open, but short, quick, compact shots, basic jab and straight right hands. I would slowly be taking up ground and move forward, but not recklessly as he's just dying for you to make a mistake. Feinting a jab to the head and then jabbing to the solar plexus to stun him momentarily with a straight hand to the head, short left uppercut, short right, and short left hook with lightning speed would be similar to what JMM did at 130. I still think the Pacman that JMM fought in the rematch is the exact same Pacman we see today, only he is abit heavier. Anyone with a great counterpunching style like Floyd or JMM's will always pose a problem with Pacman, but Floyd and JMM are great fighters in their own right, so no shame losing to those guys.

Really. Same Pacquiao we see today. If Pac did not improve his right hand he would not be able to do what he is doing at WW. The right hook changed both the Cotto and the Margarito fight into a lopsided offensive display. Neither could see it coming because neither faced a crisp right hook like that ever in the ring or in sparring.

But like the "mythical" Floyd, Manny adjusted and closed the show.
Even though Cotto implemented it he could not wobble the smaller fighter.

Why can't Floyd make adjustments without having the fight on the line ? Because he is not as good as you say.

This happens vs fighters that are Cotto's leftovers. What would happen vs Cotto ? Would Manny let Floyd off ? Is there a harder fighter to adjust to than Manny Pacquiao ? Nobody has made adjustments that worked just gotten worse as the fight went on. Manny is too much bro.

Punch resistance and stamina are essentials - as is timing and accuracy.

IMO, though, Pac is unbeatable against this era's crop of ww's.

No, YOU are too much.... I dont know whether to feel deep sadness for you or burst into hysterical laughter everytime I read your posts when talking about Pacquiao (or Mayweather).... its like your brain is on a different planet & sees only what you wish, not the reality.

:verysad or .... I cant decide !

I could be very wrong. I never claim to know more than anyone else.
However it is just what I see. I think people that are big Floyd fans fail to see the different dimensions Manny has as a fighter and fail to recognize that nobody has made any adjustments on him at WW. As each fight went on Manny was the one having his way setting up any and everything he wanted to.

Nobody has handled his speed and that is only one of the nuts to crack.

Pacman started employing "Manila Ice" aka his right hook since his destruction of Morales in the rematch and rubber match, Morales was not prepared for that and Roach was the mastermind behind that. Aside from Morales, Marquez and Barrera are the only other fighters that have faced both the one dimensional left hand happy version of Pacman and the new, versatile, improved, version of Pacman we see today. Only difference is Manny has been able to carry that power, speed, and stamina he had at 126-130 to WW, which instead of slowing him down to some he seemed even faster, stronger.
