Not slim, but none….are Shane Mosely’s chances of defeating Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to WBC President Jose Sulaiman.

Sulaiman says Shane’s just too old to defeat rampant Pacquiao, and the competitive element isn’t going to be there in this fight for that long. He suggested: “Mosely can give Pacquiao two, three or perhaps four good rounds. But after that, you need the reaction of the body. Shane is thirty nine years old. He’s lost his legs. I don’t think he’s got any possibility of defeating Manny Pacquiao.

“But I also want to say that Sugar Shane Mosely WAS a great fighter. He defeated so many in his time, including Oscar De La Hoya twice. But now it’s a different story, and we must realize that age has a tremendous impact on the body and also the mind, in boxing.

“It’s my opinion that Mosley definitely shouldn’t have taken this fight!”

he'd be singing a different tune if the WBC was on the line instead of the WBA.

Well we know he had his legs when he fought Mayweather. At least for the first 4 minutes.

We all know Jose is actively campianing for a third Marquez Pacquiao fight. Deligitamizing Pacs other opponents is just part of that.

To say he has no chance is a bit much. Manny can be stop we know this because it has been done before. Do I think Shane is going to win? No, but he does have a chance to.

He knows the game. So Pac fans slow your roll, this won't be a big victory. Shane is a washed up old fighter. Yet again, Pac is fighting another has been.

He's just pissed Pac decided not to defend his 154 lbs title that would've generated tons of sanctioning fee :dead
