Could Henry Cooper have beaten any linear heavyweight champion in history ?

yeah he would have his chance against a few of them.

 

i love the respect shown to henry on this thread but fitzsimmons is taking it way too far. no way, never does he beat fitz

though i hope swarmer is wrong and he isn't gangraped. that seems unnecessary...

 

cooper vs leon spinks close? no way. prime cooper would kick the ass of leon. cooper would beat michael moorer,

 

Probable: Leon Spinks, Michael Moorer, Jack Sharkey, Primo Carnera, Marvin Hart.

Questionable: James J. Braddock, Max Schmelling, Ingemar Johanssen.

Possible: Floyd Patterson, James Douglas, Ken Norton.

 

He would have needed a hail mary lucky punch.. Patterson dominated him in every way. He would have repeated the ko win 9 out of 10 times.

And to La Califa no way would he have beat Norton.. In his prime only big Hw with fierce power like Foreman,Shavers kod him or Cooney when he was old. He would have overwhelmed Cooper and finished him early. Cooper would have had to have fought a green Norton and caught him early in his career like Jose L Garcia did.

Buster Douglas? Not a chance epsecially not the version who beat Tyson or even the one who was beating up Tucker befoe gassing out...Cooper would have been cut up by Douglas early by his jabs, and then kod.

Moorer is so underrated on here:-(
