Not everybody has your Mexican warrior mentality. Basically the dude with the biggest cajones and toughness wins. GSP is a complete mixed martial artist who wins on technique, discipline and strategy much like Wlad Klitschko. But GSP has a better chin. Does he whine a bit too much when he is hurt bad? Yeah. But does he win anyways, everytime? Oh, Yeah!
GSP just like wlad has a glass chin. wlad is better for boxing than gsp is for mma cuz wlad has 49 KOs out of 55 wins and that is a better KO/TKO ratio than gsp
Nope GSP has only been dropped once as I recall and that was a temple shot that caused him to drop, then Serra to his credit was all over GSP with ground and pound. He has exchanged heavy blows with the likes of Penn and Fitch and never been wobbled. Wlad has been dropped many times by heavy punchers like Brewster, Sanders and Sam Peter.
It will be healed when Nick Diaz starts trash talking should that fight ever take place, and will be wounded again when GSP beats Nick.
Explain to us how easy it it to finish these guys then Hamza in great detail. And dont wait for someone else to answer for you I want your opinion Jake Shield WIN 26- (3 ko- 10 sub-dec 13) LOSE 5 (1 ko-4 dec) Josh Koscheck - WIN 16 (4 ko-5 sub- 6 dec) LOSS 5(1 ko-1sub-3dec) Thiago Alves - WIN 18 (11 ko-1 sub-6 dec) LOSS 7 (1ko-1sub-3 dec) BJ Penn - WIN 16 (7 ko-6sub-3dec) LOSS 7 (2 ko-5 dec-0 sub) Joh Fitch - WIN 23 ( 5 ko- 5 sub-13 dec) LOSS 3 (1 ko-1 sub-1 dec) GSP's last 5 toughest opponents total combined record WINS - 99 (KO's - 30 SUBS 27 DECISIONS 41) LOSS 27 (KO's 6 SUBS 03 DECISIONS 16) (No contests?DQ's make up the rest of the W/L) Out of a combined 27 loses, only 9 of them are finishes
he could finish jake shields if he wanted to with strikes imo, he rocked shields a couple of times but didnt go in for the finish but he was to afraid that shields would recover and he would be trapped in that guard of shields but as they say the bigger the risk the bigger the reward. kos well he had one eye completely shut and to me looked like he didnt want to stay around for much longer after a while with Mcjab so a ko/tko wouldnt be completely out of the question and he could have submited him too. BJ well i cant really argue much there, sick ground game and some good power in his hands. thiago isnt impossible to sub either and that has been proven
Jakes been knocked out once ELEVEN years ago in his 3rd fight, even Hendo couldnt put him away And if knocking out Jake Shield is so easy with one eye I guess your an imbecile if you think Kos is ko'able when he has an eye shut and been finished just twice And Thiago hant been finished since Fitch in 06 and in that time he's faced Karo, Hughes, Fitch and GSP so he hasnt been fighting bums, those are top names at WW Bottom line is he's barely lost a round against these guys, who, history shows are extremely difficult to finish
He's fighting the absolute elites at his weight constantly. Not that many other UFC champs are consistently putting people away at that level either.
his eye got injured in the 3rd or 4th round dont remeber which but either way it wouldnt have been that hard to jump on a guy you KD and drop some punches on him i also said that he could submit kos wlad hasnt been finished since 04 to Lamon Brewster but that doesnt mean that he cant be finished
I was going to ask why jump into a BJJ's blackbelts guard and when was Kos in a submittable position butI think Ive made my point without referring to Wladamir chins as proof of anything
Naw, it's average for a heavyweight. He has only been dropped by heavyhanded fighters like Sanders and Brewster.
