There's still a good number of folks who share Teds view that Floyd has the style to beat PAC. But to be honest that number has dropped based on Floyd's actions over the last year. He just doesn't come off as being self assured like he normally is, which means that a fighter who seeps confidence through his pours 99% of the time, now is questioning himself. Not a good look for odds makers who are all about reading the situation before the fight to make predicitions and place bets accordingly. There's some validity for those who support either side in this situation. Hopefully we'll see Floyd step up.
And he is blind as well for thinking that those 200 fights are all against solid opposition. At most, 90 per cent of those are against week-end fighters who hold other jobs as firefighters, mechanics, etc. and use boxing to augment their income. People fall in love to fighters who have more than 100 fights yet when you actually dissect those records, the only one who actually trains and fights day-in, day-out is the one with the record. The opposition are litany of cans, bums, weekend warriors. You would actually be hard pressed to count with your two fingers how many of those 200 are credible fighters. Even Roberto Duran would fight for Championship, then face 3-4 fighters with less than 10-20 fights in their resume in successio0n after.
Atlas is spot on Pac has padded his record with a lot of past prime fighters and gets tons of props for doing it. I'm glad he sees through Pac's ****.
He was wrong in almost all of Pac's fight not just Hatton. Of course he's mad. Pac makes him more stupid in every fight. If I was Teddy I would kneel for hours every night hoping this time I'm finally right going against Manny...
Teddy Atlas is a fraud, a ***** and a disgrace to boxing. He is the worst tipster in the history of the sport, and his long line of disgracefully embarrassing fight predictions have eroded the credibility he built up through shouting in Michael Moorer's face during one fight and otherwise being a thoroughly mediocre trainer. To cap it all, the man exposed himself as a fraud of a trainer when he rejected a title shot for his own fighter, a 31 year old former Olympic gold medallist, thereby demonstrating no confidence in his fighter or himself. I wouldn't wipe my ass with this ****ing shameful ****'s opinion on anything. deal:deal
I am neither a ******* nor a ***** but if they ever fight I wish Pac beats Floyd. Its just that IMHO I don't see Pac beating Floyd. And like you mentioned, several people think Floyd has the style to beat Pac. I think we are not seeing something that the Mayweathers are seeing thus the fight not happening. Maybe they see the style all wrong for Floyd and that is why Floyd doesn't really want the fight? I don't know but he sure doesn't look confident to take on Manny even though ALOT of people, even some *******s, believe Floyd can beat Manny.
Teddy may be wrong with picking fights but he's not wrong with regards to Manny ..To rank him over Henry Armstrong ? Manny is a great fighter but Atals speaks th truth not the greatest ..
How was that slamming Pac? No sane person ranks Pac top 20 ever. Atlas sucks at predictions but that's cause he goes for the upset all the time to try and make him look like a genius is it happens. He's great at analyzing fights and styles and is easily the most knowledgeable boxing perosnality on american tv.
