Why does Teddy Atlas hate Pacquiao? Anyone got a clue what the reason is?

    Is it because of some beef he has with Roach or Arum or something?

    For someone who works in the media and is therefore supposed to be neutral, the way Teddy starts foaming at the mouth any time Pacquiao's name is mentioned really is a sight to behold.

    It's the most blatant bias I've seen in the media since Bernard Hopkins was beating the living **** out of Felix Trinidad, and Big George Foreman was openly hating every second of it.

    I honestly think Teddy Atlas is a joke (the worst fight predictor in the history of boxing, and an ATG disgrace of a trainer who would turn down a title shot because his fighter "wasn't ready", despite being a 31 year old who won an Olympic gold medal 7 years ago!), but I don't want to turn this thread into a debate over Teddy Atlas being a ****ing **** or not, I'd just like to know if anyone knows why he has this contempt for Manny Pacquiao? Anyone?


    And before anyone says "Atlas don't hate Pac, he's just calling it like he sees it", I would say - Wake the **** up. Atlas was very blatantly and very obviously lying about those emails, and anyone with a brain knows it. :deal

    He keeps predicting a Pacquiao loss.. Pacquiao keeps showing him wrong and he can't take it.

    Maybe he just doesn't necessarily LOVE Pacquiao. That does not necessarily equate to hate.

    Lying about emails to paint a guy as a drug user? :huh That clearly isn't just "not loving" the guy.

    Only reason I see . . . is him being of Floyd's payroll.

    Remember those fake emails? It blasted in his own face, reason why he hates Pac more now. :D

    He doesn't like him bc he thinks Manny is on PED'S and cheating the sport. That is the reason and he thinks Manny should take the test. Nothing more nothing less.

    On what basis does he think Pacquiao is on drugs? Because Pacquiao is a great weight-jumper? I don't recall him saying Thomas Hearns or Oscar De La Hoya were drug cheats, do you?

    There must be something else. :deal

    When Roach left PAC to train Oscar for Floyd, Atlas presented himself to Manny as a replacement trainer for the Larios fight but PAC declined the offer. He settled for Roach assistant at that time which is ****** Fortun and Teddy hated him ever since.

    Let me ask you a question. Why do you think Atlas didn't get fired or suspended for the email comments? Why didn't Manny name him in a lawsuit as well? Those emails exist dude.

    He is a wanna be fighter. But he is all talk and no walk. He isn't even a good trainer. He is a failure. But has a big mouth. And

    given the lights and camera he knows how to spit the dramatics.

    Atlas does not have anything personal against Pac. It is Roach that he personally envy.

    Atlas as a trainer was **** and he envy Freddie Roach's success.

    Indirectly, berating Pac is putting down Roach's achievement.

    He chose Hatton to KO Pac and when it did not happen, he had to eat his crow on the national TV. Any knowledgeable boxing fan knows that hatton has no chance whatsoever. Even the Vegas gambling casinos had Pac favorite at 4:1 for a reason.
