For me he's done nothing to be labelled a special fighter Pacquiao , Mayweather and Donaire are what i would call special fighters
The jury is still out on Andre Ward. He still has an awful lot to prove. He might well turn out to be the real deal or join the long list of American hype jobs we have seen in recent years. First of all he needs to beat some world class opponents in THEIR home country. If he does this his standing will improve dramatically. The Ward v AA fight is very intriguing. It wouldn't surprise me if Ward easily outboxes AA to a wide points win, but it also wouldn't surprise me if AA knocks him out.
I do think he's a good dedicated kid but should drop the dirty tactics. Could make a few fans by voluntary giving up special treatment. For Chrissakes, he doesn't need hometown **** to win the Super Six, he's only making haters.

If Ward beats AA... Then he only needs to beat a awkward fighter like Froch. If that he will be a great fighter.. For now he is just very talented, and i dont like him, cuz he destroys carreers with ****ed up tacs.

dont know why anyone would say they cant stand him but ah well. he is a great fighter. just doesnt posess that one shot power that many fight fans long for. he has a great head on his shoulders and is working hard. from gold medalist to world champion. his future is in his hands. he can stay in teh top 10 p4p for a long time

Good poll. The headbutt Ward delievered to Kessler was epic. There has never been anything like it in boxing ever before. He gathered his strengths the whole way from his toes and threw himself forward like a billygoat. Everyone in the audience dropped their jaw thinking: "Did he really DO that?!" He always holds up the action with his holding. I hope AA knock him the **** out :fire If not, it will be amusing to see how Froch deal with him. No way he will be Mr Gentleman, like Kessler. He will retaliate with his own ugly stuff. It will be messy and sour, and I will be there to watch it :!:
Outside the ring he is really respectful, softspoken and gentlemanlike. A stark contrast to his behaviour inside the ring where he is a cheap fouler. Lol at the guy who said it was only one fight where he was dirty.
Amasing fighter and he actually get in the ring and fight the top dogs in his division, unlike some others. I got no idea why he dont get more support from the US African American Community It seems very strange that other boxers gets more support for not fighting.
