A pattern is emerging clearly now!!!!

Mayweather hurriedly signs a contract to fight someone when pac is having a fight.

Reminds me of the Hatton -Pac fight where Mayweather signed to fight JMM, instead of waiting for the results of the hatton fight, which is less than 24 hours wait.

Why can he not wait until monday (or sunday if in the US)?

If Pac suffers damage, he could immediately negotiate a contract as close to the previous fight like what they did with the first negotiations, where they thought Pac would not negotiate with the date they had because of his ring damage.

Weren't it pac and his camp who are hurrying to sign marquez up? **** has been plastered all over the media about arum making marquez offers to fight pac in november.

If they getting on with their business, then so to is floyd, next time arum should keep his mouth shut:rofl

    I don't believe this.

Why would floyd take this fight.

High risk, low reward it seems to me. Which is unlike floyd. But probs from me if he takes it. Would be a good fight with a good clash of styles and personality

It is all talk, no contract. JMM might not even fight Pac.

Gayweather however announced his fight against JMM on the night of the Pac Hatton fight!!!!

Finally some decency. What's interesting is there is no one else. People say "if not pacquiao, then Martinez." I think it just goes to show how great Mayweather is. They assume nobody other than Pacquiao or a MIDDLE weight in Martinez is good enough to beat Floyd. I don't buy into Martinez hype. His past opponents were tailor made for him. When he loses at 154 to Floyd, they will just say he was weight drained.

It really comes down to Floyd Cotto or Floyd Ortiz. Considering Ortiz is with Golden Boy. Is coming off a huge win. Is young, hungry, lots of speed and power. And can draw the mexican american fan base, sounds like we have a winner. We all know Floyd will pick him apart just like we know Pacquiao will do the same vs Mosley. These may not be the greatest match ups ever. But at least we still have to look forward to one of the biggest fights in history.

Seriously what a nut job. Offering Marquez 5 mil to fight Pacquiao with a rematch clause guarenteed 10 mil BEFORE Pacquiao has even fought Mosley? And this guy is talking about seeing a pattern in Floyd's decisions? Lol what. . .

I wouldn't be surprised if he has something to announce close to the Mosley fight. Who remembers when Floyd posted on he's twitter/facebook Pac's three losses? Was it the day of the Margarito fight or when they announced Shane Mosley?

exactly. If Floyd handpicked Ortiz before the Berto fight people would have thought what a mismatch. Easy win for Floyd. Easy win for Pacman also. I think even an easy win for Mosley. Berto is not that good.
