Gomez, Rogan, Johnson, Oquendo have all withdrew from Prizefighter. The event has lost its appeal to me now I will probably watch it in fast forward on the sky plus.

If I had purchased a ticket I would be biterly disapointed.

It has changed. It will be a classic bang-up...8 men, 7 fights and 32 grand. I take your points, but it WILL be fun.

    Adios.

Matchroom still need to accept that even if the event is a classic, its still not lived up to the origional line up, and even before that the promise of fighters which would be invovled.

Eddie Hearn mentioned Hasim Rahman & Roy Jones Jnr. In the end the biggest name is Michael Sprott.

When 50% of your bill pulls out its not an accident. Something has obviously gone wrong.

Give matchroom a bit of a break its a tough thing for them to get together.

Gomez has no douby been rejected a visa because of the cocaine issues. Oquendo's death of a close friend cant be helped. Did anyone really expect kingpin to not bottle it?

Not really. Eddie Hearn was extremly critical of Khan & Hatton promotions for putting together an undercard that was not as advertised and agreed that it should have been dropped from Sky Box Office.

This event is not at the level origonally advertised and I doubt its what Sky TV had envisigned. It should be scrapped.

you cannot have 1 rule for one company and 1 rule for another.

They won't the Khans to do a **** PPV undercard but Frank Warren & Hayemaker can and they allow Matchroom to have a date for a show when its missing 50% of its advertised fighters and is nowhere near the level Sky had invisigned.

 Saturday's going to be real spicy.

We've got Bradley, Khan, Judah, Maidana and Guerrero (and I'm sure a lot more) in Vegas.

Hopefully we get to hear a few side interviews with them on HBO.

Fair points, but although this Prizefighter is not what was originally intended I don't want it scrapped. If it was a PPV event then yeah, scrap it.

    My bad, Showtime*

Aren't mugs? They're not taking the fight because they're only getting $100,000 more. That's it. There's nothing more to it.

When you call someone out and say they're running and then aren't happy with it because you're only getting 100K more, it makes you look stupid.

Nothing smart in what Bradley's done. He'll be out of the ring till september at the least, now.

Sky need to set up some sort of system.

We pay xxx for a european, xxx for a british. if the fights fall through and it changes you get less money.

Promoters just keep getting away with it.

Look at the May 21st card. It shouldnt be on PPV.
