Make the draw on the afternoon of the fights, the whole appeal is lumping prospects/people in last chance saloon together in a 3 round shoot-out put the draw on the afternoon before doesnt give people time to think about the draw or work out if the £/$ is worth the risk from the draw they can see. Wont be the last international prizefighter and with divisions thta have more prospects it might work better. Give the hearns' props for givin it a go

 

So who would prefer to have seen a journeyman PF as opposed to this International Heavyweight one?

 

I doubt any of the journeyman would pull out.

Seems clear that some of these guys never had any intention of turning up.

Is boxing the only sport where you can advertise one thing then put on something completly different and get away with it?

 

I said this would all fall apart, they should've got rogan and audley in it from the start, "2 past winners vs the rest of the world" might still give it a watch if the girlfriend doesn't show up.

 

Still, we'll get to see Perez on TV, Tye Fields is dangerous and guaranteed excitement due to his chin, Sprott is a solid European journeyman....not as intriguing as before, but then Oquendo and Johnson were never gonna' supply thrills and spills were they.

Still a decent effort from the Hearns. I knew Johnson would pull out anyway.

 

I've said this before, but I reckon big Tye wins the whole thing.
