Even disregarding that Mand', Khan is levels above McLoskey. His chin is so bad he couldn't let fly, if McCloskey tried that **** against anyone else in the top tier of 140lbers he'd likely be blitzed. How would Khan have fared against the Alexander that fought Bradley based on how he looked against an inferior opponent in McCloskey? Fact is, it's a shame the fight happened, but Bradley still has a far better chance to make up for not facing Khan. Amir has little chance of beating anyone as well regarded as Bradley, as everyone else on that statre will probably batter him.
but his opponent had trouble seeing after 2 rounds... Lets face it, the way Tim leads with the head and how Khan comes wildly rushing in, I doubt it will go 12 rounds. It might turn out worse than Alexander v Bradley and it'll do well to make it past a no-contest imo
Yeah well we've had this conversation before Scotty. Alexander fell in with head as well it wasn't blatant. He got his just desserts in terms of being bullied and out hustled for most of the bout. People i think including yourself had him down to beat Bradley and when Tim won people complain about headclashes and it being a **** fight. For me Bradley done a pretty good job in a performance where he was below par yet dominated a young champion who is a level above Paul. Fact of matter is he didn't fight like a warrior he was negative even early and he bitched out. Seen far far worse cuts as well btw... Your right about Khan vs Bradley though.
Winning 5 rounds to 3 isn't dominant in my book and it wasn't just me who didn't think Tim done a good job. but as you say, we have had this conversation before:yep I confess to being slightly biased in the case of Bradley though:smooch
Tbh i had him a fair few rounds up....we all know judges see different fights. As far as i'm concerned he made a young undefeated champion quit. Yeah i have noticed Scotty..
khan couldnt put on a convincing showing against mccloskey and ppl here are claiming he has the beatings of guerraro and judah who in terms of skill are generations above mccloskey
i dont know about anyone else but i've been a guerrero fan for a while, he's always had the skills to hang with the best, his situations outside the ring forced him to be so inactive and perform so poorly.
Holt was in far less trouble than I remembered. His legs seemed with him, second kd was just him swinging and falling over. The headbutt was significant! Torres was not helped by being twatted by a massive puncher straight after receiving it, ****ed his career up by the looks of it, he was always shaky, but gutsy, had a war with a journeyman afterwards and never fighter again if I'm not wong?
