Sure, manny-mosley may be on a brand new network using diferent methods of promotion. This can either help or hurt them.

We also have to remember Mosley has no ethnic following or fanbase the way marg and Cotto did. Assuming their new methods help them, I don't see the help being greater than Cotto and Antonio's countrymen help

 

Everyday I hear the commercial on T.V. and radio. They even discussed it on the horse racing talk show. I think, Top Rank and CBS promoted this fight very well. :good

 

Pac Clottey did 700K without any promotion. Pac Mosley will easily double that with the involvement of CBS :good

 

You also need to realise Manny has gone Mainstream. White house wifes will buy this fight becuase its cool

 

Compare to ABC and NBC. CBS has more number one shows.

It's not the only factor in predicting how well a PPV will do, but do people here not listen to the hype going on around them? People I know usually annoyed me by asking too many questions during the buildups of manny's most recent fights. I've been talking more about this fight than everyone I know this time around.

 

They are but with 200 million members? Much better than whatever ratings 24/7 will generate if you factor in the total number of HBO subscribers...

 

0.3 is about 1mil viewers? Compared to 500k viewers on average for the 24/7 shows. Considering CBS has that many more subscribers, its really bad ratings. To the casual fan, the 360 doesnt hype anywhere near as much as 24/7. 24/7 can make Malignagi vs M.Hatton sound like FOTY candidate.
