Will you give Pacquiao credit if he stops Mosley?

Yes, even if he wins via a decision.

No. He stops him, big deal.

Were at the end of Shane Mosley career yet Pacquiao deserves credit for it? Just no.

Even if he stops him, I'll give him less credit than I gave Mayweathers win. Just solely on the basis of where Shane was in the great scheme of things. The Mayweather and especially Mora fights should have ruined him as an elite even world class fighter...hes being reanimated as an elite fighter for his bout with Manny. He isn't even a strap holder.

I don't get it Cesare, you have been telling everyone that will listen that stopping Shane is an ABSOLUTE GIVEN, but now you are asking those same people to give him credit?

If you really believe Shane is so shot and an easy KO/TKO victim then why would you seek credit for it?

FYI - I will give Pac credit if he stops Shane, as I have unequivocally stated he will NOT stop Shane.

But for the life of me I can't figure out why you would seek it since it is a forgone conclusion according to all you Pac fans.

A lot of people are saying they would be surprised if pac stops mosley because of his chin etc. I just want to know if people actually give him credit for a stoppage if its so unexpected. I also have a bet on pac to win via tko, and I really think it will happen, lets say I will give mosley more credit for making it to the final bell than I would give pac for stopping, I just want to see how people view it.

Why should we give him credit? He gets credit for another win, this is not like a huge upset or anything if he wins, he's supposed to win, its not a pick em fight, he's hugely favored, this is not a superfight, its a hype job fight that has a very tiny chance of being even entertaining. I'm hoping Shane wins or at least wins 4 rounds so its worth the 55 bucks, this is about cashing in on Pac fans, nobody can tell me this fight is a ****ing superfight. I for one am not buying it because I don't even think the fight is worthy of PPV. Hype.

You still get credit for getting the actual job done.

Yeah... for getting most of the world to believe he's better than he really is. Gotta get credit for that.

THis fight is all about marketing and taking money from the fans. I haven't paid attention much on this hype 'cause it seems so boring. I'm sure a lot of pinoy fans too are not so excited about this one, especially those who've seen Mosley's last two fights. We'll watch it sure, (free viewing on theatres and basketball courts etc.).

Let's say I'll give Ariza the credit for training a version of Pacquiao that could stop Shane.

I would give the winner of any fight props....unless I don't like them. But if Pac wins, I'd give him props.

No, probably not. Not more credit than is due for beating a clearly aged and "shoulda retired a few years ago" former pound for pound fighter. Not hating on pacman, I think he's incredible...but nothing remarkable in beating Shane at this stage.

Makes me sad to say that; Shane seems like such a good guy, always likable and just loves boxing like a kid. I hope he stops soon and enjoys the life he built (with all of his faculties in place).
