Why wouldn't you? You have 2 men entering the ring at a designated weight, fighting for a championship belt. If either man wins, they have my respect and all credit due for their effort.

That said, I believe Pacquaio will stop Mosley no later than round 9.

When Mayweather beat Mosely,i rated it as a decent win nothing huge ,But gave Floyd credit cause at the time cause Shane was the welterweight king .

Now shane 2 fights later looks worse then ever . if manny stops shane ,I cant see myself giving him credit for that . Just like i dont give Larry Holmes credit for stopping Ali , Just like i dont give Tyson credit for stopping Larry Holmes . These guys were WAY past it at the time there were stopped .

Mosley has 54 fights, the latest 4 being: Mayorga, Margarito, Floyd and Mora . . . all failed to KO Mosley, why wouldn't anybody give Pacquiao credit for KNOCKING him out?

    . . . though I don't think that it will happen.

No.. Pacquiao should stop him.. Mosley is old enough, his chin will not hold enough from Pacquiao assault...besides it's a busy fight for Pacquiao..

Depends on the shane Mosley we see that night, if he comes into the ring looking healthy then maybe. It all really depends on how shane looks the first minute of the fight.

well, its something Mayweather failed to do. Manny Pacquiao should get full credit for something Mayweather couldn't do.

Full credit? That makes no sense based off a comparison to Mayweather.

This thread isn't about Mayweather, its Mosley turning 40 this year, not following up after the 2nd round, and how he made a name for himself June 2000.

I would give him the same amount of credit marquez got for being the first man to stop cassamayor.

Not really. I'm expecting him to stop Mosley. Obviously, it would be a nice notch on Pacquiao's resume being the first man to stop Mosley, but it means very little.
