more likely because it was his first fight back and he trained extremely hard, and probably eased up on the using weights afterwards, he looked ripped against Berbick in 86 and Bruno II in 96.

It's true he never looked as ripped as he did against McNeeley, before or since.

How much would 2011 257lb James Tony weigh in the juicing dark ages of 1990 , as little as 157lbs i think you you will find.

As my evidence concludes roughly every 20 years a fighter will gain 100lbs.

All theories read in the above post now become fact due to being on the internet. These facts should be in no way used to bend the truth.

If we assume they're training here in the U.S., they'd probably all have on at least 15-20 extra lbs of good, old-fashioned, corn-fed marbling.

Kind of like the difference between USDA choice beef, and a good cut of Wagyu.

6 foot heavyweights weighs 230lb today not because this is their natural weight but because they did not train in the 1940s.

Today boxing is all about being as big as posible for the weight class.

Today 5.10 cruser weights weigh in at 168lb just so they can call themselves super midleweights. midlewights weigh in at 140lb etc etc etc.

Are you trying to suggest that George needs two arms?

Henry Cooper once said that while he could accept that heavyweights would increase in size over the years, nowadays some of them are TOO big. Which makes them one paced.

    Not Tyson. :patsch

Mike was 186lbs of muscle at 13, 201lbs of muscle at 16 & when he demolished Berbick he was 221lbs of solid muscle at 20, & walking around at around 235-240lbs between fights according to assistant trainer Steve Lott.

Foreman would not bother damaging his body to drain down to Cruiser, for less money, despite being clearly big enough to beat the Klits too, either. George was always over 230lbs after training, then dehydrated down to 220ish, due to a very false belief by his trainers it would make him faster, sharper & have better stamina. My guess is he had a walk around weight of 245lbs.
