40-1 in my eyes and the eyes of most boxing fans.

doesn't make Floyd a lesser fighter, it just is what it is

in close rounds you give them to who landed more (castillo) and who put the pressure (castillo)...holding and elbows does not win you rounds........you got 3 rounds wrong FOR SURE

The scoring in this fight is so overrated it's ridiculous. People make it seem like it's Chavez Sr. vs Whitaker type of robbery when it's not and not close. Mayweather won that fight, it was close but Mayweather won it. If you want to be introduced to a real robbery watch Chavez Sr. vs Whitaker. That's Pernell Whitaker, not one of the 100 unranked tomato cans in 4 rounders that Sr. fought and impressed cab drivers against.

Yeah, I tend to give the eleventh to Floyd these days. He didn't throw as much, but landed the cleaner shots throughout that round. Definite swing round in the fight.

So, it looks like you've got this fight scored 6-4-2 Mayweather. Not an outrageous scorecard by any means. I called round 5 a Castillo round last time I scored the fight but that seems to be the only difference in our scoring. Close fight either way, and I think calls of "robbery" stem from the fact that the scores were so one sided in favor of Floyd, for the most part.

It was a clear hometown decision. The 1500 people who attended and even Floyd's own tv promoters HBO had Castillo winning. He was off that night and could not stop Castillo's attack as the fight went on and did little to counter it.

When Floyd is letting somebody get off like that and not countering effectively both which are rarities and the essence of him as a fighter it is hard to give him that one.

Close fight that should of been a draw at least. Making excuses for Floyd that he was human well JLC made him look very human. Floyd started strong and faded. Of course he wasnt going to ourwork Castillo he fought Castillos fight, lost, and got a gift decision. Simple as that. Castillo was at his absolute best thats why there are countless polls where many think Castillo won. It doesnt make Floyd any less of a fighter if hes 41-0 or 40-1, but majority has already agreed Floyd lost that one and judges helped him out. No shame in that.
