Bute to fight Mendy in July in Romania and Pavlik in October in Atlantic City

Source? Of course, I'm confident he'll fight a non-threat in Europe, but not sure about the Pavlik fight.

I doubt the Pavlik fight is anywhere near finalized.

 

Yet another clubfighter in a seemingly endless stream of useless defenses. Bute has one of the worst titleruns ever. What a total waste of prime years.

Only good thing that he gets this terrible mando over with. A mando who is qualified BTW. Qualified by getting KTFO.

Their focus is 100% on making the Mikkel Kessler fight. It all depends on Kessler being able to fight. That's what Stephan Larouche, Bute's trainer said again this week.

So Pavlik is #2 on the list only because SHOWTIME don't want to give Andre Dirrell another pay day on their station...at least for the time being.

 

Mendy's his mando and Showtime don't want to show it so that's why that fight'll be in Romania.

Excellent news all round if true. I'm particularly happy about Dirrell being punished for his disgraceful behaviour.

 

The fight's in Romania only because Bute has been wanting to fight in his native country for the last 2 years.

The government will finance a big part of the fight and they were suppose to do it last year but the difficult financial times prevented it.

 

Has nothing to do with Gary Shaw ("Dr.")... It's Dirrell being indirectly told to **** off from Showtime...

 

Good. Sends a message out to these ****s who think they can do what they like. Arthur Abraham is facing another probable embarrassing defeat against Ward but you don't see him faking brain injuries to worm himself out of something he signed up for.

Anyone who cheers on Andre Dirrell needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

The last time they talk about a possible match-up between Bute and Pavlik , Pavlik lost agains't Martinez! let's hope he pass Lopez this time!

 

The Pavlik fight should be really intersting if everything goes to plan. They have to make it happen.
