    Louis vs Frazier-Louis

    Marciano vs Foreman-Foreman

    Ali vs Holmes-Ali

    Liston vs Tyson-Liston

    Patterson vs Holyfield-Holyfield

    Charles vs Lewis-Lewis

    Walcott vs Bowe-Walcott

Of course I would not bet any money on most of these fights, and the matter of who thge stylistic variables favour is random.

So, I have it 4-3 for the 30-60 crowd, but based on a couple of coin toss type fights.

I have Tyson beating Liston and Bowe beating Walcott.

Which fights that you picked do you consider a toss up?

  4. i watched several fights of walcott and now i give him much more credit, he was a master

Yeah, it's very close. You have given the three closest match-ups all to the old timers, though. I wouldn't.

He was. He fought a risky game, though. Riskier than Ali's even I'd say. It was not only the low hands, but also relying so much on beating his opponent to the punch. Cost him against the two best HWs he met. I think it would cost him against Bowe also, but Tubbs did quite alright on the other hand...

Walcott Bowe and to a lesser extent Liston Tyson, justifying your taking the opposite view of these fights.

Many will disagree, but I wouldn't want to bet money on the outcome of Ali Holmes.

Yeah I've been catching up on him a bit too lately.

His footwork is what gets me, it's really quite amazing.

The Liston that soaked it up twice vs Williams then destroys him eats Tyson for lunch.
