What is going Nick Diaz is having a boxing fight and Omar Henry said he will be joining MMA since he cant secure any boxing fights. Does anyone have videos when these two guys training together?
If it's true then Yeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss! I'd love to see Diaz do that tough guy taunting **** to Lacy, then see him get concussed by one of Lacy's wild left hooks.
Know anything about the details, I? The agreed-on weight, venue, ring size, How many three-minute rounds, the size gloves, and any modification in boxing rules for the event.
It's already on ESPN check it out and oh yeah Dana White has requested a face to face hearing/meeting with Diaz This fight will not happen Dana is good at what he does, he must protect his fighters images.
It's probably going to be at either 168 or 175, john. Diaz fights in the 170lb class in MMA. The venue and date have reportedly been agreed to already in the contract Lacy signed but not yet announced publicly. It will definitely be a boxing match with three minute rounds (I'm assuming a 10-rounder since it's a "big fight" but not for any championship) and the rules will not be altered. It won't be a circus act; it's a legitimate boxing match (as was Diaz's pro boxing debut back in '05). The rules, gloves, ring etc will all be of types used in professional boxing, not MMA.
lacy lost to that last guy and should have to griffen. . . but i think even those guys would beat an mma guy in a boxing match. . . how many rounds is it? the more the better for lacy
Diaz is a great MMA fighter & his boxing works very well in MMA but boxing is different, you have to fancy Lacy here but I`ll be rooting for Nick as he is 1 of my fav MMA fighters.
