Atlas is giving Bennett **** for his scorecard, but **** Atlas.

He had the 2nd even, and I saw the first for Gastelum. There's room for a draw score in a 4-rounder there.

 

He probably gave the first two to Gastelum and the last two to Lee; which is not that far-fetched. I scored Rd1 for Gastelum, and Teddy Atlas scored Rd2 even. :conf

I think if it had been a 6-rounder Lee would have won a UD or possibly scored a stoppage. As it is, in a 4-rounder that started off close in the first half - those scores were all fine, from the shutout to the draw.

Round 1

Martinez comes forward in a straight line, body turned with his left side cheated toward Concepcion. Martinez unloads jabs to the body and right hands over the top. Concepcion is backed nearly to a corner before throwing his first wide hooking shot to back Martinez off. Martinez remains the aggressor, pushing Concepcion around with jabs high and low. Martinez is moving his hands on the outside to fake Concepcion out. Martinez uses some tricky footwork as well to get Concepcion thinking he's coming from different angles. Martinez is using just a little movement on the outside to try and get Concepcion to open up for counters. Martinez misses a lead right but lands a jab to the belly. Concepcion stays behind his shell. Martinez comes sprinting in with a wide left hook around the guard and a right hand through the middle. Each snaps the head of the other back as they jab together.

Round 2

Martinez again drives Concepcion back with his jab, nearly into a corner. Concepcion then comes forward missing with both hands as Martinez shuffles back the way he came. Martinez is still using small subtle movements on the outside, shifting his weight on his feet and rocking his body all around while waving his hands. Hook and looping right land softly to the head by Martinez as he steps around Concepcion. The Pinoy slugger tries a hard overhand right but finds Martinez backing away too quickly. Martinez harasses him against the ropes, picking him off with jabs and looping rights while moving in and out. Low blow by Concepcion. Martinez takes less than five seconds to recover. Martinez comes jabbing back and Concepcion continues to throw low, but looking mostly legal. Hard combo by Martinez, a left hook to the body and a crashing overhand right to the temple as Concepcion folds slightly from the hook.
