I already got a avatar bet going with the Pizza Face Coalition. If Haye KO's Wlad I will wear egg face on my avatar.

Any other suggestions? PM me, let's talk this out. I'm down - however it's going to be a good fight I believe.

Win lose or draw i will be backing shane.

Shane needs to utilize similar tactics that forrest used on him. He needs to be patient and make full use of his height and reach. He also must tie pac up on the inside; not only to thwart his attack, but to also get some shots in of his own on the inside

I remember a few months back, Requiem posted that Pac-Mosley would be, at the least, a competitive fight....and, after thinking about it, I'm inclined to agree.

Even in the autumn of his career, Mosley should be able to find a home at least some of his punches, especially if he targets the body. And I think some of those punches will have an impact on Pac. They may not drop him or bust him up, but they aren't going to be the type of shots that Manny can ignore or walk through. That might allow Mosley to find further opportunities to connect and work himself into position to stay competitive in a fight with someone who possesses an edge in terms of hand and foot speed.

Mosley, even at this late stage, is too good of a fighter not to have moments of success against a naturally aggressive opponent. And this is his last hurrah, so you know he'll be motivated to make those moments count as much as he possibly can.

I'm not picking him to win. Pac's edge in terms of speed and ability to throw punches at such a high volume will probably carry him through to a decision, I think. But Mosley's going to make him work for it every step of the way. He'll have more success than a lot of observers expect him to have...And in the process, remind us once again of why he's remained one of the best fighters of the past 15 years.

I like SSM. Always have. He's been a class act for a long time. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part to think he's got one more really competitive effort left in him. But sometimes wishes come true...And this could be one of those cases.

    War Shane. :good

I think the way he's trained and the way he's acted in th elead up to the fight he is going to try to make a statement. That is why I am inviting a whole **** load of friends over to my place to watch this fight. Because the last time he wanted to make a statement we got Cotto Pacquiao, which in my humble opinion was a ****ing barn burner!

Thanks for bumping my post Bro! Ya a lot of people have been listening but not thinking on this one. My post isn't even supposed to make people think Shane has a chance. If anything it puts in perspective the task infront of him. If he's going to knock pacquiao out he's going to have to beat him from pillar to post. The best fighter in the world is not going to suffer a flash knocked out and shane mosley is not the type of guy who gets those type of knnockouts.

The other think that I'll add is that I don't think shane moves his head nearly as much as he used to. THat meaks his foot work soo much more important.

Mosley has a puncher's chance, but not much more. Shane hates having to pursue or chase a fighter. It seems to me that Shane prefers to mix it up and Pac will most definitely do that. Pac will bring the fight to Shane which actually works to Mosley's advantage. I would look for Shane to throw crisp, fast punches down the middle catching Pacquiao off guard as he comes in. On the inside I believe Shane has a definite advantage as Manny likes to do that darting in and out thing. If Shane can catch him coming in, or if Shane can land a big counter, or a big shot inside, he could take it by early KO.

However, when Shane is countered, outworked, or once he realizes that he isn't as fast as his opponent he becomes twitchy and hesitates to throw. If Manny can counter him (possible but not likely), or if Manny's punch output overwhelms Shane (very likely), I would look for Shane to shut down and do just enough to stay on his feet to the end.

For the record I am picking Shane not because I think he'll win, but because I think Manny is vulnerable to the types of skills Mosley brings to the table. Manny doesn't possess the defense, movement, timing, counter-punching ability, or ring IQ that Mayweather does, so I expect a long night for Manny win, lose, or draw. Eyes swollen, bloody, the whole 9.

I'd like to be at this fight, but as a Field-Proven Chin Checker I must not attend. Both Mosley & Pac have shown to have great Chins. This will be a battle to the end, may the best man win.

I am pulling for Mosley but it would be unlikely. If Glass does Shatter, then that is too damn bad. But if it does...and I repeat...if it does, the ChinCheckers will be there to study the Glass. Our express air travel will get us there as soon as possible to review the Glass evidence. So perhaps I will see some of you fellas in Vegas tomorrow night - Glass aside (22 oz of vodka straight).
