    Old-style, I agree, but nowadays things are so different.

    Whether we like it or not, Ariza has 10 times the profile of Barker (this is just an example, nothing against Barker - Froch has suffered a similar 'newsworthy' issue with the print press because of his low profile).

    Ariza got interviewed on Ringside again, he is a high profile S&C of the best P4P boxer in the world and had a fall-out with one of the most high profile British boxers and a world champion. It is his close association with Pacman and Khan that makes him more newsworthy.

    You mentioned Peter Wilson on your show on Thursday night, it would be great to do a segment about all of the old school boxing hacks i.e. Peter Wilson, Des Hackett, Hugh McIllvenney et al and remember the service (and stories) that newspapers USED to provide to boxing....:good

    There is a little bit of chicken and the egg here...all points taken. However, it's crazy that a fitness conditioner gets more space than our top fighters. I hate to pick on the hapless GAD but I doubt that he has ever seen Barker fight, let alone remembers his brother or dad - all of which are better stories than Ariza and his poxy shakes!

    exactly ariza methods apparently did not suit khan :rofl vale usees all organic you get me good for you yeah i feel much healthier quicker under vale.
    maybe but his performance suffered a hell of a lot imo

    Check the photos of Ariza at the Pac-Mosley weigh in on the front page - he is right in the middle of the photos, hugging the limelight. A S&C should not have been turned into the demi-God that he is, but he is lapping it up.

    How funny is it that Teak Khan have gone cap.in hand to see Ariza,all the piah about how good Mike Vale was and all the hinting at Arizas training methods not helping him etc...hope ariza kakes them sweat a.bit

    Huh? When has anything NEVER been Khan's team's fault?

    I've criticised them plenty of times.

    And what is their fault anything to do with what I just posted?

    Roach requested a meeting, not the Khan's, as the quote's above clearly state, along with the original article that first came, which were quotes from Roach, not Amir or anyone of Team Khan.

    It appears they need Ariza now & not just when he moves up in weight!

    I hope Ariza tells them to go fcuk themselves. Khan's camp are nothing but stroke pullers.
