    I was guessing 1980. Somewhere around there, Ali still looks fairly young and Leonard must have been pretty well known by then.

    Yeah, I'd say '79 - '80.
    Maybe earlier. Ali looks pretty good, he looks slim. Maybe it was late '80 when he came back for Holmes though.

    indeed he looks wired.

    but on that note SRL repeatedly says he started doing coke in 1982 after his first retirement...so if he is coked up, this pic may be later than we thought.
