The boy just won the Prizefighter tournament. He seems to have a very good chin, and OK power. Maybe his short arms keep him from generating some more. How far do you think he can go?
You couldn't really judge his chin from Prizefighter as it barely got checked. He got hit by two good shots from a no-hoper but that doesnt mean ****. He does look good though, aggressive and pretty explosive. Definitely near the top of the domestic scene in UK/Ireland.
He looks good,I was impressed with him.Would like to see him fight again and I think he will get on sky again soon after tonight.Guys like Fury and Chisora will avoid him like the plague.
nah mate. I think 30 lb. is just to much for him to loose. And in cruiserweight he wont get so much medie interest. The cruiserweight is just boring and dosent mean anything.
i know it isnt a popular weight but i just dont think at 6 ft he can really challenge for a title...id love to be proved wrong tho
I haven't seen him fight yet but a few things I see. His size could really hurt him as he moves up the rankings. Not that he couldn't possibly overcome that but he is at a disadvantage in most of his fight because of it. Fields and Tony aren't exactly top contenders but Perez knocking them both out in the first round are nice wins for a guy with 15 fights. I'm not overly intertested in the whole Prizefighter thing but Perez winning it and with a couple ko's make me interested in him a bit.
Impressive from Perez, a lot better than i thought he was, after his next 3 fights he could be looking at a top 10 place. I would like to see him target Juan Carlos Gomez and Kingpin now, they were up for a fight any way, he has the buzz now, let's hop[e he and his team use it well now.
Last two Stoppages were bogus... i might havebeen little drunk but That's what I remember he hurt fields but too early stoppage.. he looked good thou. Dustaine.
I like what I've seen so far. Don't know how far he can go but he's explosive and fun to watch. The best thing about him winning Prizefighter is that he'll get exposure from Sky and we should get to see him in some interesting fights in the near future. I'd have loved it if he'd won having gone through Oquendo, Gomez and Johnson though. Beating guys like that would have catapulted him up the rankings.
agreed on early stoppage but looking back at reply, fields head was rocked my 3-4 solid punches towards end. think the dude can fight but looks kinda poor on fitness, throwing bombs like, he'd last no more than 5 rounds before being tagged gud but props to him, hope he gets some good fight behind him to see what he offers at top domestic and beyond....world level, unsure.
