PI has had it's share of great boxers from Pancho Villa, Flash Elorde, Luisito Espinosa, Pacquiao, and Donaire. But just because PI fighters have had a good run recent times , don't start thinking they have caught up with Mexico or Puerto Rico. :nono

Vazquez did the best he could but you never send a boy to do a man's job!

    Arce made history...

BTW thanks to Anarci for inviting me over for the fight!

This should of been PR's victory, and Vasquez just dropped the ball. It wasn't his corner, it was him. He should of not allowed himself to get pinned against the ropes like that. But I guess he just wasn't conditioned to go 12 hard rounds against a Mexican that doesn't know how to give up.

I just think the kid was in over his head as he lacked experience and was not ready for the beating that was in store.

He was used to fighter going into straight defensive mode once he landed flush on them or dropped them. But we know Arce is not that type of fighter :nono. Even in his past prime he's willing to take big risks and is willing to withstand some punishment to get his shots in. Serious heart and determination. Vasquez wasn't ready for 12 grueling round with a man like that.

Now the question is, Will this hurt Vasquez mentaly or will it make a better, stronger willed fighter out of him?

Unfortuntly for the kid (Vasquez Jr.) this being a Mex Vs. PR battle... It will defo hurt & effect the rest of his career. (Mentality wise)

This fight was important on many levels. :deal
